Hello all,

I have been vaping a kayfun v3.1 for some time now. I have recently noticed that I am not getting the bubble after taking a hit. After about five to seven hits, I get the dreaded burnt hit. After many rebuilds, trials and tribulations, I determined this the be a pressure issue. I plug both holes and blow into the mouth piece. When I do this I see my air bubles go up and flavor returns. I have a 2.2 micro coil using japanese cotton. Cotton 1/8 inch strip loosely threaded through coil and clipped at the top of the chimney. Pushed down making sure the ducts are clear.

Any help?

Hello and welcome. I just rebuilt my KFL today. I used 28 guage around a 5/64 drill bit 9 times. It ohm'd at 1.3 and then used Japan cotton. I take a 1 inch or 2 long by 1/8 wide. Then split it in half. Thread it through with slight resistance. Then put the lower section of the chimney on and trim the cotton just about 1mm above the top and tuck it in. Then tuck them in loosely and then wet all the cotton with juice. Confirm it works and push the cotton towards the side wall of the desk with a flat head screw driver. Add little more juice so saturated. Add top piece of bell. Assemble tank and fill from the bottom. I start out lower in volts around 3.8-4.0 and slowly take it up till I find my sweet spot. Usual,y around 4.2-4.4 with my coil. This is on my istick as well.

Check Phil's old videos about KFL build is you need to get a better visibly of how to get it working better.
Good luck with the KFL.
