is anyone else having wicking issues with the kayfun v4 clone (fasttech version A)?

i have looked this thing over and over and it looks like all the parts and 0-rings are here. everything is screwing on smooth and not wobbling or seizingg up. 1.4ohm single coil build using 28g around a 2.4mm screwdriver. wicked with organic cotton balls, japanese cotton or rayon.. i have tried a little bit of cotton, more than enough cotton, tapered end cotton, layed over the holes, flared at the bottom, barely touching the deck, halfway in each hole .. and all the same problem.. i fill the tank and open up juice control, watch the bubbles float to the top and vape but no air bubbles come up while i'm vaping..then after a few pulls, i start getting dry hits.. if i suck really hard and quick, air bubbles will release for another few pulls then when i suck quick and hard, nothing.. and more dry hits..


any help would be appreciated.

Hey mate, found you wandering far in the weeds -- and unfortunately I don't have a v4, and the only thing I have in my head is to have the juice flow fully open then tighten the airflow down. It may also be you're blowing too many watts for it to wick, but I know you aren't the only one having an issue.

You'll probably want to have the SKU of the item you ordered rather than "version A" and such.

I think I found my problem and it's a weird solution, but I apparently was running my wattage too low at around 13.5 for a 1.3 ohm build.. I bumped it up to above 16 and haven't had any issues since..go figure
