I just purchased an EHPro kayfun V4 Subohm Kit from Sweet-Vapes:
EHPro Kayfun V4 S Kit - EHPro - Atomizers RBA’s

I was under the impression that the bore in the post would be 2.7mm (vs. the 2.0mm bore in the stock post) according to the description. However, my 2.4mm screwdriver doesn't even fit into the bore.

Also, there is machined threading in the base of the post for a air adjustment screw..... I didn't think that the 2.7mm post was capable of using an air adjustment screw.

If anyone has any experience with the kayfun V4 S kit, please let me know if this is normal....or did they send me the wrong item?

I don't have one but sounds like you got a regular post. The 4S kit does not have the threads. I have heard some of the clone kits are not any wider and don't have the threads. I would assume that yours is just a replacement part. I am planning on drilling out one that I ordered. Would be worth a shot if your not going to send it back.

Ok. I also think it's just a stock post with a different colored insulator, even though the description from Sweet-vapes says:
"This is an optional upgrade kit that increases airflow with a larger diameter pin (2.7mm from the original 2.0mm), and it also includes a PEEK insulator to withstand higher temperatures"

I just thought that I was overlooking something about the item I thought I was buying.

I contacted the seller, and they asked for pictures. I sent the ones above and a couple others. They replied and said:
"I am going to investigate the issue with kayfun s-kit and get back to you tomorrow. I need to do a little digging on this one."

I'm not sure what that means.... The part obviously appears to be different than the one they are advertising for sale.

I bought the kit from Sweet-Vapes too.
It increased the airflow just a little bit.
Not sure if it's a genuine Peek insulator but looking at the same kit offered on different sites it looks the same color wise and not having threads in the pin for a set screw.
My kayfun 4 is a tobeco and the kit fit even though it says its for an EH Pro Kayfun 4.
I stretched my spring a bit so that the top piece would make better contact with the base.

I have a genuine Kayfun V4 and it's fitted with the 4s kit. The new centre tube is 2.7mm and has no airflow adjustment screw, it's completely open at the base. They didn't add the adjustment to the 4s because they said it was to thin to machine the threads and retain it's structural integrity.

Don't know much about the clones of this device but it sounds like you either have the wrong piece or the cloners got it wrong.
