Hey guys, I just got myself an EHpro v4 clone and am absolutely in love with this thing! I have only registered one single complaint so far and that is that it's so long due to the new deck design. I was running a 3.1 with a nano kit and sorta got used to the size, now it feels like I am vaping with a light saber.

I found this online K41 Drip tip - Drip tips - SteamTuners P.C. and it looks super promising but they are sold the freak out! Has anyone else seen something like this anywhere else? This tip would be awesome because it replaces the top nut which cuts a good bit of length off and then it looks fairly short itself. The website listed also sells a nano chimney which allows the use of all my old 3.1 nano tanks which would be awesome! I think those 2 combined would get the v4 pretty short and I would be completely happy with it then. I also saw a bell cap for the v4 which may be another option for removing the top nut but then it uses the standard length chimney.

I would appreciate any help locating something like this threaded tip if anyone has seen one anywhere else, thank you in advance.

Judging just by the photos, the Fortune Top Cap on the ST site does the same job as your drip tip, replacing drip tip, top nut, top cap. Not sure how either address the issue of needing to release pressure when tightening - perhaps they have flats on the threading like the K4 top nut does. Or perhaps you invert to tighten.

You want light sabre, you want to see my K4 with extended chimney and 6 ml tank on a 18650 Vamo. I just measured it - a tad under 9 inches. :)

You know, I see that now. I didn't even think about that before! It looked to me like the tip had the flat spots but I agree with you, no idea how the top cap does it.

Sounds like quite a set up you have! I started out going in that direction, I wanted the Samovar with the long chimney and tank for the 3.1 but for some reason I decided I wanted to go small so I went with the istick 30 and a nano kit. Not sure why I changed my mind but I have enjoyed having a small "pocketable" set up. I even thought once of going with a 26650 panzer and an 8ml 26650 kayfun but changed my mind on that one, kinda hard to carry a baseball bat around!

I think my next set up, once I get this one where I want it will be an LPG mod with the 18350 tube and a 3.1 nano, I should be able to close it up in my hand!

Since I read your post I've spent a bit of time at ST looking at the options and spent a bit of time thinking about nano options, but the deal breaker for me was seeing that nano means 2.5ml.

The flats on the drip tip are clearly visible in the photos. It is tempting to mail them and ask about the top cap. I have large options covered now - the Vamo is barely useable cos I'm scared I'll knock my teeth out, but a 6ml K4 sits nicely on my Sig50.

I've just got a 18350 mod and am loving it. I've spent a bit of time looking for a short atty to put on top of it, but shortening a K4 feels like a much better option. I trust the K4 not to leak which is critical for me. If I mail them about the top cap, I'll ask about restocking the drip tip. If you do also, perhaps it will wake them up and whoever gets a response can report back.

Here's my K4 on a 350 mod:

Steam Tuners have replied to me.

They say the drip tip will be back in stock in 5 to 10 days, and that the Fortune Top Cap and the G4 top cap have flats on the threading.

I didn't ask when the G4 would be back in stock, and they didn't tell me.

Thank you for checking in on that. I am sorry I didn't get back sooner. I have not been on the forums for a little while.. I am actually having an issue with my kayfun right now which I am about to make a post asking about.. If I get that worked out I will look into the drip tip again, I may end up having to buy a real one.. just don't have the $180 right now.
