Kayfunl lite plus, provari, favorite juice, cotton, but no.....

Just thought I would share my frustrations with everybody lol. So I got my kayfun in the mail on MOnday, saw that my neighbor signed for it. Rushed home and when I say rush I mean very carefully made sure I got home as fast as possible, looking to expect another package from an online store but no package. Im sure alot of you are saying, what is he talking about. Not a very good writer, but a long story short, Ive been sitting with my kayfun since monday BUT NO KANTHAL WIRE TO BUILD IT. THE Package with my wire is still sitting at some post office somewhere. Do you know how frustrating this is to have everything, Provari, drill bit, juice, little screwdriver, cotton, torch but NO KANTHAL WIRE!!!! I went to home depot and my local hardware store but they said they didnt carry it. So now I have to go home every night and look at my kayfun just sitting there and not be able to play with it. I got real desperate last night and pulled my kanthal from my kanger heads but really no luck with it, it maybe too skinny or too short. Just thought I would share my frustrations because this is probably the only place that would understand

a spool of 28g kanthal vapo wire and you would be set for quite a while. Hang in there. The KFLplus with 28g kanthal, 9/10 wrap 5/64 micro w/ cotton is the best vape I've ever had. Perfect machining, super easy rebuild and replacing the cotton is a breeze.

Dude, you say you're in Los Angeles... there is practically a vape shop on every corner now. Hit one up...all of the ones near me carry RBA supplies.

I agree with endor that if you cant wait for vape mail, then google vape shops on your smart phone, pad or PC and see what pops up. Many are open pretty late. You'll pay a bit more but if you get a spool then you won't need to buy for a while.

Oh, also forgot to mention that the KFL+ shines on a good mech mod. Much better than on my vv/vw devices. I run mine on my scorpion mech and nzonic.

It will melt the insulators much more quickly... if you run it too hot... If you like to run it that way, you should have replacements on hand...

I think I am going to go to the vape store in Westwood tonight and pick some up. I just get so tired after work, didnt want to go and drive anywhere after work this week, but its better than staying at home and staring at my Kayfun. Thanks for the push to get me there tonight.

Whats your ohms on that wrap ?

I do the same.....28 on a 5/64 bit with 6/7 wrap and cotton for a 1.1 Ohm. I use that on both My Semovar and ProVari....also tried on Mechs. Kayfuns are just the absolute top of the heap at the moment....IMHO

From the 13.00 dollar one to the 175.oo original.....all vape tremendously.

Hurry and go get your Kanthal..

Dude, really??? You make it sound like its going to be the road trip from hell!!! You should feel lucky that you are where you are and have so many vape shops in your area. When I left Cali a year ago September, there was like "2" vape shops in SoCal. Vaperev in Downey, (which had just opened), and E-Cig City in Laguna Beach... Now there's about 50 of them within a 1/2 hour drive from you... I am currently in Illinois and if I want to go pick something up its a 60 mile trip to Chicago!!! Really?? Westwood?? I could see if you lived in San Bernardino or Riverside, but your in L.A.!!!! Sorry bout the rant... Was just having some fun there...

I'm at 1.2ohm. no sub ohm here! too scary for me!

Check your packaging carefully. Mine came with a small amount of wire (don't know the ga.) and a small piece of wick. You may have overlooked it.
Of course mine is a clone so maybe yours didn't come with these items.

Ya I build my coils to about 1.6Ω in my Kayfun, currently running on a Provari @4.3 V. I guess I don't get the whole sub-ohm thing? I like a cooler vape anyway... OP did you get to da sto? Got your build done?... Lovin life? hehe

The original kayfun doesn't come with wick and wire.

2nd this opinion and build; my go to Pv setup now, but doing the cotton wick a bit differently has really made it better for me.
