As many know, I was a DIYer for a few years. I found KBV e-liquids and found my e-liquid supplier of choice. I have had many favorites over the last 7 months, since they opened and find I now have a new "problem" with their "joose."(That is what they call their e-liquids.)
I love KBV e-liquids. My dusty DIY supplies may go into the classies. But, I now have 2 big problems with KBV e-liquids.
The first is aging. KBV is great straight out of the mailbox, but, I am now finding a few MLs here and there of aged KBV flavors, left behind after getting "hooked" on a newer flavor of theirs...........Their many, delicious flavors are now multiplied by 2. Each flavor becomes a new flavor with aging. I loved the flavor called OMG. OMG was one of the original flagship flavors, and I was a big fan. I vaped over a dozen ounces in the first months of KBV's existence. I recently was very low of my 5 favorites and shuffled frantically through drawer number two of one of my three drawer e-cig cabinets (those plastic stackables ones with 3 drawers) and found about 5 mls left in an ounce bottle of OMG. I figured, why not finish that off. It was dated January 2011. OMG!!!!! This OMG has become new...........different..........delicious! Don't get me wrong, the OMG out of the mail is wonderful with hints of vanilla, caramel, and a slight cappuccino back note which is pleasant enough to please even the most discernible coffee lover or those, like me, which only drink coffee HOT in the morning. The OMG coffee note is a slight hint, not overpowering and IMO can not be considered a coffee vape. What it does taste like is quite subjective, seems everyone "gets" something different from it but all agree that OMG is OMG. Aged OMG has a softer tone and a more mellow melding of the flavors. The caramel does what all caramel does in the flavor/vape world. It ages and becomes luscious. I have become a seeker of aged OMG. I am vaping nic strengths twice my usual, as a friend sent a bottle at 24mg after a plead on the KBV Hidey Hole forum on their website. I am now revisiting some of my older loves from KBV and finding the same is true of many of their e-liquids, I just never left any behind to find it out.
The second huge problem I am having is their product development. Yeah, they send what they call "Bait A" samples with every order, even if your order is for merely a one half ounce bottle. With all of the "teasing" from these new delicious flavors, I am like a fish grabbing at the bait. My bank account and e-cig spending budget are all amuck. When the new "toll bridge cookies" was sent, I vaped the 3ml bottle in one sitting. Then, had to order an ounce. The same was true of the "V spot," "Hummingbird nectar, pebble path, waffles, rice Krispity treat, and one of the best flavors, IMHO, Butter rum pecan ice cream. WOW.........all delish and vaped regularly. I still return to the old reliables like Tootsie rolly, Mommas Angel wings, Fiddle Paddle, KBV Bar, warm sugar cookie and of course maple frosted rolls. BUT..............now that I have these new "problems" of aging making a more delicious flavor and new flavors being developed, I am stressed out trying to decide what joose to vape as I love soooo many and my husband has caught on to the grocery store embezzlement of asking for "cash back" after paying with the debit card from the account used for household expenses. Yeah, I deposit it into the paypal designated account for new KBV flavors...........I admit it, I am powerless over my addiction to KBV flavors. "God, grant me the serenity to accept the fact that KBV makes the best e-liquid, the courage to continue finding new ways of embezzling and the wisdom to choose the right flavor with the right food, drink, emotion, mood.........."
Yes...............It is true, Kick Bass Vapor "lured me in" and they kicked my bass with all their delicious clean flavors.
*sneaks away to take something for the nic headache...........whew, how do you folks vape 24mg?*
