Ok, I'm gonna put up a few reviews. First, I have discovered I'm not a huge fan of tobacco flavors. Not a huge shock, as I didn't ever smoke straight tobacco analogs. I'm- or rather, I *was*- exclusively a Djarum Black smoker (after they banned them in the US I ordered them from Indonesia). I tried a whole truckload of clove varieties at first. Only one or two were keepers and they're not favorites.

I do have a sweet tooth, and I really like sweet, vanilla-y flavors particularly. I like a mild throat hit, lots of vapor, and so I suppose it's no huge surprise that I prefer at *least* 30% VG.

Want2Vape RY4- The one and *only* tobacco blend I like. It's amazing. Dark and has the feel of a potent, bittersweet dark chocolate without any actual chocolate flavor, if you know what I mean. Velvety. The caramel and vanilla are definitely there but don't make it super sweet. I mean, yes, it's sweet but it's not incredibly so; the sweet is mostly noticeable on the exhale. Intense and delicious. Excellent vapor. For sure one of my favorites. (All W2V's blends are 30VG/70PG, my personal sweet spot.)

Want2Vape Smokey Clove- This is my favorite clove, not because it's particularly like a Djarum black (it isn't) but because it's an *amazing* flavor. Complex, not remotely like licking a bowl of potpourri, and just right on the blend of clove vs. tobacco. I don't use it as an all day vape, it's a little too... much... for that, but it's really good. Not remotely artificial tasting.

Want2Vape Rockstar- a lighter, brighter version of RY4 according to their site. Yep, it is. Not really to my taste- I loved the dark quality of their actual RY4, and this is also less sweet and heavier on the bright-tobacco flavor IMO. Nevertheless, I can tell this is a complex and well blended juice… just not for me.

Essence Clove from ELiquidPlanet- One of the potpourri-like clove flavors. Too sweet, too clovey. Pass.

Essence Dreamsicle from ELP- Smells awesome, like an orange tic-tac, but almost entirely flavorless when actually vaped.

Essence Vanilla from ELP- Awful, awful, awful. Nothing like vanilla, very floral/spicy but not in a good way.

TastyVapor Vanilla Cheesecake- a 30VG/70PG blend sweetened. My absolute favorite that I've tried hands down. So, so good! It's super flavorful, very sweet and intense. Killer vapor. Mild throat hit (which I prefer). My one and only all-day vape; I tend to be a bit schizo about switching flavors a lot, but this one... this one I can commit to, haha. Very, very good. I clearly do not have enough flavors from this place so I have another bunch coming (as well as a TON of the Vanilla Cheesecake... since I vape anywhere from 6-11mg nic, their flavored-but-0mg nic "doubler" is a great deal for me as it's at least a quadrupler if not more with the 48mg bottle. I don’t find this flavor cloying at all, and my husband (who doesn’t have much of a sweet tooth) loves it too. All around winner! (Their customizable blends are a great idea too- that's what this one was.)

TastyVapor Geoff's Blend- Interesting. I hate cinnamon flavoring in anything except food, so the mild cinnamon in this is a bit of a turn off to me personally, but it's mild and really only comes out on the exhale. complex and fruity otherwise. If you actually like cinnamon, try it- it is definitely good! Sweet and intensely flavored.

TastyVapor Kretek- I got it unsweetened. It’s ....-kicking intense. Somewhat sweet even without sweetener. It’s the closest to a Djarum Black I have run across- it’s not just straight clove, there’s some tobacco in there obviously and it’s got perhaps some anise and other flavors. Still, it’s not a favorite of mine, but that's a personal taste thing, not a crappy-juice thing. If you're hunting for a Djarum Black flavor, definitely try it. It's not an absolute dupe, but it is the closest I've found for sure.

KickBassVapors, I must say before I write any individual reviews, that many of their juices taste very similar. It’s hard to describe- it reminds me of some of Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab’s (a perfume oil vendor) vanillas that are right on the edge of smelling plasticky to me… Snow White comes to mind in particular. I am kind of indifferent to the “base flavor”- it’s just meh to my tastebuds. I really, really wanted to like KBV’s flavors but just wasn’t wild about any of them. YMMV.

KBV Momma’s Angel Wings Rice Pudding- my least favorite. It’s just this odd barely sweet, slightly toasted ephemeral flavor. It’s inoffensive, I’ll give it that. It’s not like I tried it and gagged or anything. The sort of flavor that you try and then wonder what on earth it is supposed to be. Unsweetened rice krispies?

KBV V-Spot Vanilla- the one I was the most excited to try in this order from them as I have disliked a lot of the vanillas I've tried. It’s a hint of really amazing creamy vanilla overpowered by the weird KBV taste. Double flavor, and glad I did, because it’s still a slightly weak flavor. The vapor smells just amazing and I wish the flavor was as good as the scent. Pretty good, I’ll probably keep this one.

KBV Strawberry Pie- Strong KVB generic base flavor, slightly sweeter than some, and a hint of strawberry. Meh. Extra flavor. It’s okay.

KBV Hummingbird Nectar- Well, there’s no generic KVB taste anyway, although it does relate to the others in that it’s a fairly mild flavor that was alright. It does have this… exceedingly odd… flavor however. A bit perfumey, not very sweet. Not an intense flavor by any means. Again, not offensive, I didn’t hate it but I didn’t really like it either, it’s okay.

KBV Birthday Cake- slightly sweeter KBV generic flavor. The only way I could tell it and Momma’s Angel Wings apart would be that MAW is not as sweet. Extra flavor. Again, majorly indifferent to it. It’s okay.

KBV WTF- Chocolate nut KVB base flavor. Extra flavor. Not strong. It’s okay.

KBV Peppermint JC- Faintly minty KBV base flavor. Regular, sans extra flavor. Not strong and the peppermint doesn't smack you over the head or anything. It’s okay.

KBV Cranberry LOL Bait A Sample- Now this, I really like. It doesn't have the KBVness thwapping me over the head. It has a very faint mintyness- very faint- which is a lovely subtle touch. The cranberry is bright but not overpowering. I'm not a huge fruit girl but this one, I can enjoy. I think I'd especially like it with extra flavor. I'll be using this little sample up, for sure, and hope they release it soon. I usually like fairly strong flavors but I enjoyed the light subtlety of this one. Sweet, but not too sweet.

QuickNicJuice's Apple Pie- 20VG/80PG. Awesome! An intense but not cloying smooth sweet apple, no major cinnamon hit (yay!) and it’s just a killer vapor producer. Surprisingly thin for the VG content but that does make it wick nicely. Second favorite after the TastyVapor Vanilla Cheesecake.

EliquidPlanet- I’m not going to review all the ones I tried individually. I would say that I found them, one and all, to be not so awesome and kind of expensive for what they are (exceedingly mediocre). Very artificial-flavor-y. Especially the Blackberry, the Vanilla, and the Cotton Candy. The Cream was…. interesting, as it was very unsweet and tasted like heavy cream quite exactly; while by itself the result of that was weird it mixes well with others. Their packaging is also inconsistent- some bottles are really, really full, some are not. Not sure if it’s the amount of liquid that differs, or the amount of liquid the bottles themselves hold. It’s definitely apparent that the bottle shape differs. Also, overpriced considering the meh quality IMO.

Aroma eJuice may have quality juices, I just didn’t happen to love the three I tried (clove, vanilla and RY4). Good flavor, not artificial tasting. The clove is a potpourri-variety one, nothing like a clove cigarette.

So, to sum up: TastyVapor is gonna be my go-to vendor. The fact that they are dirt cheap due to the “doublers” (really, quadruplers or more considering I use mostly low nic blends) really doesn’t hurt. That, however, isn’t why I love them so much- it’s the flavor, and the blend of VG/PG that really got me. I think some people- my sister, for example- could find their flavors cloying, especially if you're not big on sweets, but ohmigod, their flavors worked well for me!

I’m looking forward to trying the QuickNicJuice flavors I ordered, since I liked the one freebie they sent so very much.

KickBassVapor I *really* wanted to like considering their rep for being the go-to vendor for all things sweet and bakery related. Unfortunately, not for me. I did like some of their flavors well enough, I'll definitely keep the V-Spot Vanilla as it's the best vanilla I've found so far. I do think that the "KBV" flavor is either something that works great for you, or not. Looks like it works well for most- wish I was one of them! Prices are very good.

Want2Vape, with their process of extracting tobacco flavors, is clearly a vendor I want to try more from. Their RY4 is amazing! And the prices seem great considering their process isn’t just uncorking a Lorann’s bottle.

Thank you for this! A friend told me to go to Tastyvapor after trying eliquidplanet (I agree with you on that, it really isn't impressive at all, the quality is subpar in what i got, chocolate wasn't terribly chocolatey, more just.. syrupy) and I've been looking for a good clove cig tasting one, so I'll definitely give that one a shot! :)

Wow. Great reviews. I haven't tried all the vendors you included, but your take on W2V and KBV dovetail with my opinions.

I don't actually LIKE all of Donley's juices at want2vape, but he's a veritable genius at replicating flavors. If you haven't yet, try his Crème Brûlée. Absolutely to die for, and one of the best mixers around to soften, round out, and slightly sweeten harsher juices. Your comparison of w2v RY4 and Rock Star is spot on with mine, since we both prefer darker flavors over the brighter, more sparkly juices.

Then KickBassVapor. What can we say about KBV? They have a HUGE fan base now, and who am I to rain on that parade??? Nonetheless, I agree completely with your point about KBV having a very dominant signature base. Yes, every juice they make has that same something about it, and---like you---I wish I were more drawn to it than I am.

My first reaction to many of the KBV juices I've bought is often to be immediately bowled over by how rich and delicious the flavors are, but then I find myself tiring of each juice remarkably soon, usually because of that damned signature base. I just reviewed KBV RY4, and it was with considerable sadness that I had to give it a thumbs down.

Needless to say, finding other posters with similar palates is pleasing. Keep those reviews coming!

Ooooh, I'm excited to hear we have similar tastes and you like the Creme Brulee... I was trying to decide if I ought to order it or not. I think I'll have to give it a go.

I *wish* I liked KVB more. I will probably vape the Vanilla one at least.

I am a huge perfume junkie and that was always a good way to discover new things you might like- look for other people who had similar tastes and stalk their reviews. Juice, as a super subjective thing, is probably the same.

The OP took the time to share her impressions of several vendors and did so in an honest and thoughtful manner. It's our job as the reader to decipher what's on this forum and weigh it against our preferences. Posts like these add value to this resource, and post count has nothing to do with validity. I feel exactly the same way about Vapor Station juice now as I did when I had been vaping for only three weeks. I thought it was a good post, thanks for the contribution.

Thanks for the reviews, I'm waiting on my first Tasty V order and have tried several KBV flavors. The thing with KBV is the juice has to sit for many days, even weeks, before they shine. I don't even open the bottles until a week after they arrive. PinkSpot juices are ready to go, but honestly, are a tad expensive. I go through 30 mil of their Nutty Buddy every week. I'm also looking for that perfect Vanilla and have found three so far that I like. The vanilla custard from Mrs. T's, the French Vanilla Organic from Vaporites and the V-spot from KBV. Going to try the Tasty V vanilla next. Taste is all so subjective, but like you said, finding reviews from peeps with similiar taste buds really helps to decide what to try next.

Excellent tip on the KVB, thanks! I'll stick em in the back of the juice drawer and come back to them in a couple weeks then. It'd be awesome if the base flavor backed off and the other flavors develop more... I think the Strawberry Pie especially could get nice if that's the case.

Mrs. T's is one I want to try still. Got a whole troupe of Vaporites samples on the way including the Organic Vanilla- I'm still hoping for the Ultimate Vanilla Experience!

If I'm not mistaken, I think what joanr meant was Vaperite rather than Vaporites. Vaporite is a line of ......... vaporizers, LOL. Not that I'm in that loop---my pot days ended more than two decades ago---but I had never heard of Vaporites, so I googled it and discovered the wonderful world of ......... vaporizers.

Anyway, Todd at Vaperite is another extremely talented juice artisan. I can remember when Don didn't even have a web site for backwoods brew. Same with Donley at want2vape. It's way cool to see the emergence of great new juice vendors, like Prime Vaping, Ozark Fresh, and Vermillion River. They seem to be poppin' up like mushrooms after a spring rain. Good time to be a vaper.

Oops, Vaperite is what I meant. Great organic juices, best Kona Cream I've tried. Got my Tasty Vapor juices yesterday. Love the injection type bottle stopper, makes it real easy to fill those tanks. The Tastyfinger, not bad but not what I expected. I think the chocolate flavor in there overpowers the other flavors. I added some Peanut Butter Cookie juice from TVR to the mix and now it's more authentic tasting, at least to me. The Atomic Cinnacide is just that, atomic. Big Red spicy gum and more. That was for my hubby, he's lovin it. Next to try the Ultimate Vanilla and some of the organic COV juices, although they are all 100% VG and I may need to thin them out a tad, but I hear they are very flavorful.

So Apocalypse*Meow have you tried the Ultimate Vanilla yet? Have you ever tasted Mrs. T's Vanilla Custard?

One thing I forgot to add about Tasty Vapor is the nic strength selection for the 1 oz. It goes from 24 right to 12, there is no 18 or 16. I'm doing a nic step down bit by bit and am not at 12 yet. I'd like to see him add an 18 or 16 in there without having to buy the doublers and mixing the nic strength myself. That said I ordered the 24 and am now having some nic overdose symptoms, have to cut this down I guess.

I just got a *bunch* of stuff to try! I'll add some more in depth info, but so far most of the Vaperite organic samples are yummy, and I'm absolutely flipping thrilled about that because most of the juices I have (especially TastyVapor unfortunately) have wayyyy too much PG in them for me to vape. (Cue mad scratching and itching fest w/in about 10 seconds of vaping a mostly-PG juice).

And Joanr, I did get Mrs. T's goodies today including the Ultimate Vanilla- very excited to try them, especially since apparently Mrs. T's is more VG than PG.

Todd's organics are all VG or 50/50. They are very smooth at 50/50 and don't clog my cartos or tanks at all at that mix. His Organic Vanilla is one of my favorites. IDK, the jury is still out with the TastyVapor bottle of Tastyfinger. I think it's just too much flavor, never thought I'd hear myself say that, but I'm going to let it sit out tonight without the lid and see if some of that funky chocolate alcohol flavoring will evaporate down a tad. I'm anxious to hear about the Ultimate Vanilla.

I'm going to update my opinion on KVB: I *had* to vape them all pretty heavily over the last week while waiting for some of my higher-VG-juice orders to come in, as everything else (sadly, including my favorites from TastyVapor) all made me itch like crazy.

I really found that some improved a *lot* over a week's time- I reordered two in larger sizes and compared them, the fresh ones to the week old ones. Actually, there's a surprisingly dramatic difference. I was pretty shocked at how much flavor changed- the flavor deepened and strengthened noticeably, especially in the Strawberry Pie. I found Strawberry Pie and WTF both grew on me a lot- the others, like Birthday Cake, Hummingbird Fruit (or whatever it is, haha, too lazy to look up, sorry!), and Peppermint Icecream, didn't really grow on me much even with steeping... in fact, I'd say Birthday Cake and Peppermint Icecream remained about the same. But, I found both WTF and Strawberry Pie to be much better with the stronger flavor they got from steeping.

Joan, I totally agree on Tastyfinger. I found it to have a bit too much "finger" in there or something... I'm not a huge Butterfinger fan, so I guess it's no shock I was fairly indifferent to it.

TastyVapor's ultimate vanilla: I will put up more in the next couple days, with reviews of the other TV flavors I got, but it's soooooo good! I got the doubler (which is taunting me since I can't really use it.... ordered it right before I realized PG was making me itch) and it's sweetened, and it's creamy ad intense, and just right for someone like me who likes a good creamy vanilla. Yum. It's a creamier, foodier vanilla rather than a darker bourbon vanilla, but not wimpy and fairly complex. I'll definitely try using some in my DIY plots, since I can't use it straight (sigh). It's very dark juice, but tastes more like one of those richly yellow vanillas.
