I am using standard 510 carts from TW

I keep getting ejuice in my mouth when i vape. A small amount comes up through the hole in the top.

It tastes awful

Am i putting too much liquid? because apparently you should fill the carts 3/4 full before putting the filler back inside which i do and then put an extra 2 drops on top as per their instruction video

ive used several of the carts and get the same problem. I opened one up theres like a bit of plastic in there which should stop this happening?

maybe i will try the mega carts is this less of a problem with them?

basically i got a 510 cart and drilled the inside out to get rid of the plastic thing in there. I then put the cone tip of a pen in there and put the outside robber grip from the pen to secure it - i got this idea from e you tube someone posted. I then drilled a large-ish hole in the side of it.. so its like a shot gun hole i keep my finger over it and then let go at the end of it bit like smoking a ......(shottie) :)

Nice... where I come from, we call that a choke. Anyway, what you've experienced is a big part of why I don't use cartridges. I don't know if you noticed this or not, but there is a cap on the end of the cart(the end you put in your mouth) that actually comes off, and what's inside is a little reservoir, that I guess is supposed to act as a buffer of sorts to keep your cart from leaking/flooding the atomizer, or to keep juice out of your mouth. I find that it almost makes getting juice in the mouth inevitable, so I just use drip tips now. It's less of a hassle. Less gear to carry around, less tedious and time consuming. When you run outta juice, just drip some more down the drip tip. Just be careful if you're using auto batteries. You can continue to use what you've been, but I recommend a "colored and twisted" drip tip from Nhaler.com. That's what I've been using, and I love it.

Frap, Im sure cazzicon will see this and post a vid..at least Im hopeing..but heres ur cure....Take a paperclip or something and put it in the hole in the mouthpiece of the cart, and tilt it sideways..that end piece will pop off...youll see a big puddle of juice in that cavity...clean it out. Then take same paperclip or like and put in teh next lil hole, and do same with that..that lil ring will come out too..now chuck it..and put end piece back on..that will stop you from getting the juice comming back, and if it does, a quick blow back the other direction will push the juice back to the atty where it belongs:)..by quick, I mean split second..otherwise youll blow it right out teh air wholes in the threads :p

I use both the 510 xl atty/carts and the ego mega atty/carts. Seem to be have good luck with the ego mega item using the blue foam, it will leak, but very little(don't set it down on the battery nose). As to your problem, you are over filling a little and you may need to point the battery up wards a little to slow the juice flow, I do that after I just refilling a cart. What you are getting is the extra juice and water condensing as it travels down the tube to your mouth. It then seems to stop in the small area just ahead of the last hole in the mouth piece. When I start getting the extra juice mixture, I remove the tip and blow out the extra moisture, quite abit comes out when using the 510 xr carts. Far less comes out when using the mega carts.

The ego Xl atty is finicky..you can use the carts, and they blow through some juice, But Ive had a couple give issues like it needs a break in. All in all they seem to all work well, just differently, and takes getting used to...The blue foam will have ya flooded in no time on XL carts. But the XL's must all be carried/stored cart down when not in use, as they will DUMP liquid. And at 2.5 ml a shot, its no little loss.

I find when I start getting juice in my mouth and/or if I get a bubbly sound almost like my atomizer is flooded, there's usually juice trapped in there and cleaning it solves the problem. :)

I got so tired of liquid getting in my mouth from cartridges that I gave up on them all together and bought myself a drip trip. I don't have to fuss with cartridge mods, refilling, carrying carts with me, etc. and so forth. I just drip into my atomizer and I'm good to go for a few puffs. It's kind of a pain in the .... if I'm out and about, but I've gotten myself into the habit of dripping before I head out, and just vaping less while in the car.
