Hi guys! Any idea if kendo cotton is good? i feel like its too dam overprices unless you get it in bulk order. Currently using Maxim organic cotton that is whitened by hydrogen peroxide. Do you think it is ok? and do i need to boil them since it is not bleached plus ICEA certified orgainic

From personal experience, kendo cotton is not that bad. Though other cotton such at cotton bacon V2 is definitely better, kendo cotton is worth its price (considering you got it straight from our Neighbours).
Kendo cotton takes a whole lot longer to 'break in' even compared to normal unbleached cotton, but once it does, the flavour really comes out. You don't get that new cotton taste when you first put it in, and initially it's really REALLY hard to absorb juice. Like I said, after it 'breaks in' it works pretty well. Yes it lasts longer too compared to normal cotton, but not as Long/good as the cotton bacon V2

@gardenia_bread but the maxim cotton is ICEA certified organic. yea gonna try the kendo cotton really soon. @FusedMoose So cotton bacon V2 is better than kendo?

hydrogen peroxide = is a kind of bleach
Just get muji organic if it's price you are concerned about. Muji has been a mainstay for most of us here.

I mean it is not exactly the price but the hassle to get the Kendo cotton. I have been using Muji Unbleached cotton pads for sometime in the past. However I am unsure if the cotton is organic or not? Like there is nothing on the package that state that the cotton is organic.

After I heard that I've never used it, just as my personal safety precaution. Lots of people are using it though

Muji got 2 types, the unbleached organic and the bleached ones
The organic ones are the brownish ones
