Kenthal A1 28 AWG question?

How many wraps of Kenthal A1 28 AWG gives ohm more than 1.6.
No matter 3/4 or 4/5 on my ProVari Z Atty Pro I keep getting 1.0 to 1.1.

A micro coil would get you there. It's basically wrapping a bunch of tightly grouped together coils. Do a youtube search for a tutorial.

With 28 ga kanthal you'll probably have to go 8 coils or so. Tip.... get a mod. Genesis style atty's are so much better on a mod.

Thanks a lot guys. I did the micro coil which was around 8 wraps. However, I keep getting shorts. I played with it for 2 hrs. And gave up.

Is it the ProVari or the Z Atty Pro that are messed up. I don't get this kind of problem wit any other decides I have. All the RBAs work fine.

I love my provari but all genesis attys go on my mods. The provari is just too finicky about them. In my experience anyway. Imo I think genesis attys give a much better vape at lower ohm and higher wattage and the provari isn't going to allow that.
