My KFL+v2 does the same thing. It starts flooding sometimes when I go from air conditioned inside to hot outside. Or hot outside to air conditioned car.
I guess the vacuum really doesn't like swift changes in temperature. It never happened like that in the winter. I've been looking into a summer tank that won't leak as much, but nothing tastes as good as the KFL and I'm a flavor junkie.
Anything that causes a rapid change in air pressure can cause leaks in most bottom coil toppers, and sudden temperature changes fall in that category.
