I figured I would ask here because a lot of people have never even heard of Boge or HH.357 (heck I never did in the several weeks i've been vaping........lol yes that was sarcasm). So I only have experience with the kfl and the nautilus. I bought the nautilus because I thought it would be similar to the kfl but with the convenience of "disposable" coils. But the nautilus was muted in flavor, had poor vapor production, and had several issues. I've tried at least 10 different coils, bdc, bvc, 1.6, 1.8, from several batches, and they all seem the same. So i've pretty much abandoned the nautilus. I was hoping to use it to "test" new flavors, but it just wasn't worth it.

So then I started visiting the diy forum and found that the Boge was popular, which also led me to the hh.357. Does anybody have experience with these 4 listed in the topic title (or 3 or even 2)? I am hoping to find a cheap(ish) easy way to test flavors. I dont want to waste 1-2ml of juice in a tank just to realize that the flavor is horrible or it needs to be steeped. I'd rather use a few drops.

So I guess I wanted to know if the Boge or hh.357 will give similar flavor production to the kfl+v2

I'm a big fan of the KFL but not so much the HH.357. It's hard for me to recommend an HH.357 to test flavors as it is pretty expensive for a disposable dripping atomizer and not worth the money IMO. I don't think that the flavor is better than a KFL and I think it's only marginally better than similar less expensive disposable dripping atomizers. If you just want to test flavors I would recommend a less expensive bridgeless 510 or 901 atomizer - you can get a good one for under $10 at a fraction of the price of an HH.357. My preference is a Cisco Spec or Empire Mods:

Or on the other hand, you could pick up a cheap Kayfun clone and just use the coil and chimney. Normally I wouldn't recommend clones, but if you're going to be setting half of it aside anyhow...meh.

Take off the tank section and top, set them aside. You could take off the top of the chimney and drip several drops on the coil and then screw the top of the chimney back down and vape a bit to see if you like the flavor.

It would look a bit silly, but it would taste exactly the same as the KFL+V2. Especially if you're using the same gear to rebuild it with.

I do have a ProTank 3 and Evod 2 that I use for trying flavors, myself. Since the coils are rebuildable, and I DIY my juice, I don't mind throwing away 2ml if I don't like it. That also gives me a bit extra liquid so that I can really get into the flavor and decide if I like it or not. Sometimes different flavors taste different during the day, depending on what I'm doing, how much water I've been drinking, all of that.

Empiremods Bridge Free LR510 1.5ohm

I second this recommendation. I have tried all of the "toppers" (I hate that word) you list and the HH.357 is the only one that'd be easy to quickly taste multiple juices with, but it's too expensive for just that use. In my opinion a Kayfun is too time-consuming to use specifically for quickly changing taste-tests, and while I have had much better luck with the Nautilus BVCs than you (it's currently my favorite vape) you don't need a multiple-milliliter tank with pricey coil heads to test with.

And lastly, while Boge cartomizers are tried and true, they take several minutes to fill and fully saturate, and it's debatable if it's even possible to fully clean one and get it back to like-new flavorless (and not moldy) condition. Back in the day people would even dry them in their oven. And do you really want to have to do that? Probably not. ;)

I would just buy a pile of cheap non-rebuildable atomizers, and that way if you test a juice in one that you absolutely hate you don't have to feel guilty for tossing the atomizer in the trash. (Of course you can clean them, but if you REALLY dislike the juice you don't have to live with it without going broke.)
