I recently got a kGo, and was wondering, don't know if this has been posted or asked somewhere else, but is it better to use a Low resistance carto/atty (2.2 - 2.6ohm) or high resistance (3.0 to 3.4ohm) with them? And what exactally is the difference?
2.2-2.6ohm is generally not considered low resistance. Most people consider low resistance to be 2.0ohm and below. And standard resistance would be be something like a 2.5ohm carto or a 3.0ohm carto.
Standard resistance attys/cartos give a cool vape, while low resistance attys/cartos provide a warmer vape and more TH. the lower the resistance the warmer the vape will be. So while a 2.0ohm carto and a 1.5ohm carto are both considered low resistance, the 1.5ohm carto will give a warmer vape with alittle more TH than the 2.0ohm carto will. Most people prefer Low resistance over standard resistance. Neither one is really cOnsidered better, it's more of a preference.
For the kGo I recommend trying the Smoktech 1.7ohm XL cartos (also called the Reasurectors). I use an Epower, which is another 3.7V PV and is similar to the kGo and the Ressurectors are the only cartos I use. They are designed for 3.7V PVs, like the kGo and Epower, and they work awesome on both. They are 1.7ohm so they give a nice warm vape with good TH, and they hold about 2ml of juice so they last a pretty long time before needing a refill. The Boges are also good cartos and work well, but personally I like the Ressurectors more, and they hold about twice as much juice which is a plus as well bc you can refill a lot less often.
Crystal Clear Vaping and Hoosier both sell the Ressurectors for a good price. I buy all my cartos from CCV bc they have a good deal and they have free shipping which is nice especially when you just wana order some cartos. Also if you buy a 15-pack you get a free drip tip. CCV also sells the LR and SR Boges.
And if you ever want to refill even less, the Ressurectors work awesome in the Smoktech tanks. The 3.5ml tank is perfect for EPower/kGo sized PVs and it works well. It does come with a dual coil carto, but I think dual coils suck a lower voltages, so I use the Ressurectors instead which work a LOT better. CCV and Hoosier both sell pre-punched Ressurectors too for the Smoktech tanks and they have the metal base on them like the DC carto that comes with the tank does.
the Ressurectors are def worth trying
