Good is a matter of opinion, adequate can be supported by the number of successful non-smokers who started out with any particular device.
No, I wouldn't say a gas station e-cig is good. But that's based on my (our) experience which new users do not have. However, any device that ultimately leads new users to places like this, and / or on to success with other devices is a good place to start.
There are as many opinions as there are people in the world. For example some would choose say looks or style over some minute advantage in specifications, other's might choose based on what their friends have had success with in the past. In both cases I'd approve if it helps motivate them on to success. To be the most effective in our role here, we should be giving information AND options. Pushing constantly only one or two opinons or possibilities while shooting down all others comes across as the "hard sell", which to many is a turn off in itself.
The best experience we can offer new vapors is success. There are many different and proven paths to that experience. Constantly sniping at opinions and suggestions that differ from your own does a disservice to new users and those here trying to help. Both should be free to post their opinions and make their choices without being coerced or ridiculed into any sort of conformity.
