out of nowhere my kgo vv stopped working , i didnt overcharge , drop or anything.

Nothing screwed on the top works , clearomizer , cartomizer , tank etc.

When nothing is on it and I hold the power button , i see a blue ring start glowing inside the part where you would screw a device on .

It charges fine , and the LED's and buttons work , but attaching anything to it , and then trying to vape , absoultely NOTHING happens , its like sucking through a s straw?

What could be the problem , is this fixable?

There are many vids on youtube. Here is one of many....link.
Turn the battery off; use something that will fit between the battery post and the side wall of the 510 connection (small screw driver; dental pick; etc)
'Gently' pry the post to one side and repeat this process while going around the post.
This will rock the post and slightly lift it also.

I would recommend getting a multimeter as it is a valuable tool for troubleshooting ecig devices.
You don't need anything fancy and they can be had for $5-$15 bucks.

I never heard of this being a common problem , I probably dont go on the forums enough.
But again thankyou ! So glad its working , time to vape ;)

Loll yeah aight , more like you got it sorted , i never woulda known where to start looking to find the problem .
And as soon as i used the ego clearomizer is when it startd . you think it pushed the post down too much so other devices wont work?
Does this happen frequently ? I used it with a vivi tank and it worked great for 3 months . Also , When you say

"If the devices post can not be pushed it, I will even file it slightly to make it shorter.
Something to think about

Could you elaborate on that and the file part ?
Thanks

Look at the bottom post of your clearomizers; cartos; etc.
I would bet that one or more have a center post that sticks out a lot more than the rest.
Those longer post on your devices can push the batteries center post down far enough that the normal/shorter post devices will not make contact. Then you have to pull your batt post again. I don't like to have to pull the battery post more than needed as this can cause problems. One slip up and you could pop the post out or to far and break the wires in the battery.

If the novas post is to long, it will push your battery post down. Then when you try another clearomizer it wont fire unless you pull your battery post again.
To prevent having to pull your battery post all the time, which could lead to eventually breaking your battery. I would suggest filing the clearomizers post slightly to prevent it from pushing your batteries post to far every time you use it.
Here is a pic of the positive post on a vivi nova that someone filed down.
Positive post is circled in red.

Skelley -

yess the Clearomizer is long wick . Or I'm not sure what you meant. If just shaving it , because if you shave it , it could obv be pushed down again but worse , no? Or just shave it for devices that push it down , then go and pull it up again if i switch devices ?

I'm not sure If I'm accurate at all, apologizes. I'm new to the whole vaping .
That picture looks like a very short stem version of a vivi nova tank base ((filed then I assume?)) - can you even file down a ego clearomizer ?Or would you even want to ? I haven't had any problems with my tank , nor do i see how filing it down would help. Also The hole at the top of the clearomizer is small as hell , so is there anyway to change the atomizer and wick on a clearomizer? ,it seems the hole once you unscrew the drip tip/top,of the clearomizer, is far too small to work around on insides to change its atomizer or wick.

Once again thanks alot

I think I'm confused now RobbieVap, but it's ok, we'll be confused together...lol.
That pic shows the bottom connection that screws into your battery. They had the same issue with the vivi nova's bottom pin pushing the battery pin down to far so they took a file and removed a little of the post on the vivi nova.
Did that make sense?
Here is another pic that may help...

The bottom pin is what I believe pushed your KGO-VV post in to far. Also look at any other devices and see if their pins are long also.

Are you talking about changing the coil on the vivi nova?

I took it a step further and filed down the threaded part of the battery on my KGO. I have two KGOs. One works with all of my cartos/clearos. The other one needs the post lifted for use with certain clearos. I compared the two devices by butting them up against each other and noticed that one was a fraction of a millimeter longer than the other. I filed down the longer one so it was the same length as the shorter one, and now it works on all of my clearos with no lifting or prying of the post.

Disclaimer: All of my clearos have posts that are flush or close to it. none stick out like the one pictured above.
