Just got my GGTS here today, and while I know that lots of people use one in thier's, I can't seem to get mine to fit in the tube. Not sure if I just need to try and force it a bit, or if maybe theres a certain way it has to be put in. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

The kick won't fit, or the kick and the battery are too long?
Kick fits fine in the top tube as the diameter is larger then the kick. Kick has a grounding spring on one side that you need to push in before sliding it into the top tube.
If it's the other issue, a AW IMR 18650 + a kick barely fits if you remove the bottom spring in the GGTS. Don't telescope the top side of the telescope all the way in only until you see were the threads are about to start and then tighten the bottom up.

Ah- you know- just got home and fiddled with it. I was just being a puss and didn't want to push too hard and end up breaking it. Fits and kicks =P Though, I will need one of those top tubes eventually, or more 18500s.
you can also extend the telescope too. this device is so cool its like what EZKILL says "just like legos" you can unscrew and screw so many parts to it to fit any kind of battery, make it look like a light saber while at it.
Or use an 18490 size and a kick in place of one 18650 size... that should fit too with no additional top tubes, but you give up like 500 to 900 mah (being 1100mah) not using the 18650 battery.
