Killer 705 Ohms?

I made up my first coil/wick for my 705 this evening & didn't take the meter leads into account so I missed my target resistance, ending up w/a 1.5ohm coil. I was very surprised to find that it actually seems to be vaping better (@ 4VDC on a provari) than the 1.8 ohm original did. Which is definitely NOT the way this stuff generally works out for me & it got me to wondering where some of you experienced killers are setting up your coil resistance? - TIA

You could always go .6 ohm dual coil lol

Seriously though , I may try a dual coil rebuild in my Dripper Pro tonight if I'm bored enough (it uses the same ceramic cup). I'm not gonna go to .6 but I might try to make a 1.2 ish dual coil. The Provari will fire a 1.1ohm at 3.8v. Though I do have a mechanical if I want to go to down below 1.1.

Sounds like a cool idea chadsmo, but I use the killer for my work device & so need something compatible w/ego style batteries. I'm not sure, but I doubt an ego would safely power a SLR coil? I wonder if everybody else is setting up their killers in the 1.8-2.0 ohm range like stock?
