msrp i think is close, but the coop is around 60ish i think. plus the 91% has impovements to the lite that i think are key...air control, adjustable center pin, drip tip adapter...
Yeah, got in on that too. I need to set up my direct deposit straight to his acct, lol. But hey, for ~$140 for a Russian 91%, a Hercules and 2 RH Killers + lots of extras, WAY to good to pass up!

Well, I just got my Killer clone in. It's built pretty solid. I don't have the real Killer so I can't compare the two but this is made of good material and threads are good. It's nothing like the terminator (killer clone). I did have to remove the rubber insulator in the 510 connector. Don't understand why it was put there in the first place, it was blocking the air hole.

So far it's vaping good. Just as good as my divers. I am getting some minor flooding but I think it has more to due with not setting it up right and not having a proper tank for easy refilling. For $20, this thing is great. Wanted a real Killer before but couldn't justify buying one at $80+ since my Divers were performing great anyways.

So what's the best tank to put these in? I skipped carto tanks in my vape journey, went straight from ego-t's to 306's to rba's. I've been doing a bunch of research and found 3 that might be perfect for it: 1. Ibtanked's custom fit killer tank, 2. Vaperfexion's killer tank, or 3. a Rapid tank from Finn vape. Not sure but I think the 3rd would work the best because of the bottom fill port, but it's not a custom fit. The first 2 are a better height (perfect match for the killer), but ibt's doesn't have a fill port, and vaperfex's is the most expensive of the 3. Thoughts?

I've been reading up in the main killer thread, and it seems (like the kayfun) the killer needs a certain amount of pressure built up in the tank to perform best. For the same reason you fill a kayfun upside down, the Rapid tank's bottom fill port seems like it would benefit the killer. Not sure I really like the delrin tab that sticks out the bottom cap, but it might help the performance. Like I said though, I know squat about tanks so I'm trying to prepare.

so, after having this a day and a half, i have some things to report.

1. construction is good, just like any RH clone
2. rubber grommet on the adjuctable 510 connector MUST be removed to use this in a tank. one easy fix for an RH mistake
3. not 100% sure about the original since i never had it, but ive read that it had a "floating" 510 pin that self adjusts. not the case with this one. you can screw and unscrew the positive pin with your fingernail for super easy adjustments (after removing the isolater, see #2). i like it.
4. i use 70/30 diy and i have the juice control fully open, no leaks, not gurgles, seems to feed pretty well, but i need more time to be sure. seems easy to open and close the juice control but i remove from my mod to do so.
5. i dont have a mod that sits flush, so i cant comment on air control
6. i broke the original ceramic that came with, but i had a ton of ce2 ceramics laying around. i found that most if not all were super tight, so i took a diamond tip dremel bit and opened up the bottom hole some. super easy and now fits just right, easy on and off but doesnt slip.
7. cleaned really well, didnt notice a crazy amount of oil or grease.
8. taste is very similar to diver
9. no leaks
10. while dremeling out the ceramic, i did a quick dremel inside the juice control holes to remove any burrs or obstructions and just to give it a quick sanding to make it nice n smooth for the juice to flow.

running a 1.6 ohm coil at 8.5watts in an IBtanked 22mm shorty, think it holds about 3ml maybe a little less. working really well...next to my diver no less. my diver is giving me a dirty look as im thinking that this killer clone may not gurgle and leave juice droplets in my mod like he does.

those are my initial thoughts and impressions, would love to hear yours.

I must be doing something wrong because I'm getting leaking whenever the tank is less than half full and when I refill it. The less than half full leaks are the same I get from my divers. I think getting a tank with a fill hole will solve the problem or maybe I need to use 2mm instead of 3mm silica. The 3mm might be over wicking.

I liked this so much, I ended up joining Bucky's RH co-op to get more. He has these things going for $5.78 and ceramic cups for 50 cents each. I'm really impressed by these and feel bad that I never got the real 705. Leo really designed a great rba. I just can't find myself paying $70+ now that I can get something almost identical for less than $6. My guess is the Diver will be next to be cloned by RH. The diver clone coming out by tobeco looks to be more like the killer than the diver since it has 3 parts instead of 2.

Jmarkus, did you remove both insulators in the 510 connection?

i only removed the insulator on the bottom, the one that touches the 510 connector on the mod. the other one needs to be in place so you dont get shorts.

im using 2mm wick, looped on the bottom and then the other 2 strands tucked in. i dont have a fill screw and dont get leaking when filling or when half full...i dont get any leaking at all! thank god.

im in bucky's coop for another 2 of these, cant beat 6 bucks.

i saw the tobecco "diver" or whatever they call it and it looked crappy, the atty pieces are plated not to mention how it looked. i like my atties all ss.

Okay, I removed the one insulator and its working great. Thanks guys; I have to say the floating pin would make things a lot easier but its working. I took a different approach with the wick. 2mm with just enough to stuff around the ceramic. Haven't noticed any gurgling or flooding and its keeping up with wicking well.

Can't believe buckys price was 6 bucks!

Will buckys be selling the ceramics too or is it only part of the preorder?
