Hey guys... so I'm on my second week of vaping (thanks to a few on here I got some extra juice while I wait for more to come - thank you guys).

So with the LEA I broke in the atomizer and it went from an ok vape to an awesome vape.

But now I'm down to and ok vape again... I have to suck on this thing for like 10 seconds (take a break in between) to get a descent vape...

Is there a way to clean the atomizer?? or ... am I doing something wrong... I'm not getting that heavy vape anymore...

It's driving me nuts!

Any feedback would be appreciated!

Hmm that's the problem with starting out with a relatively unpopular device. No one has any experience to help! :p

Is this a tank system? If so, they are notorious for having vapor production and draw issues. Try cleaning it and do a dry burn, as suggested. Problem with tank atties is that once they've been wet with water, I find they take a while to recover. Perhaps before cleaning, I would just blow the juice out and try that.

Lung power should suffice, and is probably easier.

Now's a good time to try ordering a different type of atomizer too - before all your atties start doing this :) Nothing worse than having to endure a couple weeks of subpar vaping because all your atties are underperforming. Not sure what will fit on the LEA though.

Yeah - this thing only has 1 atomizer...

I'm thinking of getting these:

CE2 Clearomizers (Empty) (5/pack)

Anyone have experience with these? the LEA has a 510 threading supposedly - so I'm assuming these would work...

I've been using these for awhile now and can tell you first hand, they are AWESOME! Good, consistent vape every time. Plus, you can see how much juice is left in the thing before you head out. A definite plus in my books!

Can't (or won't) speak to the CE-2's (many say they're great, others say they suck..) go figure.. but I'll say this. Get back-up atomizers (and/or cartomizers) quickly!

(Speaking from my first vaping-horror-moment's experience, if they (or it) goes out, you could find yourself in a panic situation - not good for a new non-smoker...) :vapor:

These particular atty's are known for having the "wax and wane" effect: - they work beautifully for awhile - then not so good - then beautifully again. I don't think anyone has figured out why - but it's a problem with the deep barrelled atty's (yes - all the engineering students out there can get on this one right away... be appreciated).

Three things you can do to kick start it again -

1) Make sure you're vaping with a full charge. When in doubt - charge with a wall charger - not a computer - leave on the charger for 3 to 4 hours (overnight also works).

2) Clean the atty. Blow it out - put a bit of tissue on the threaded end and blow hard into the barrel. Repeat until the tissue is clean. Then swish rubbing alcohol or vodka (vodka works best) in the barrel for about 10 seconds and empty. Let the atty dry for a few minutes.

3) Insert a new cartridge (sometimes the problems with tankos are the cartridges and not the atty's - the little plastic ends get stuck on the pin and block the liquid).

When you've done all this - plug the cartridge in and hold the manual button down for 7 to 10 seconds - then start puffing on it like mad. It will stop after a short time - just do it again until you see big plumes of vapor.

This usually works - if it doesn't I yell at it .....and that doesn't work either!

Good luck!

Good advice I have backups for my backups. It's always better to be safe than sorry!
