I can hear the vapor but can't get any. What do the holes on the bottom and side do, is that what the allen wrench is for?

Yes, kayfun Lite + , I think I may have it figured out. The bottom allen screw is supposed to be removed right? It just keeps the air way lined up and needs to be taken out?

Or adjusted, I think it was screwed all the way in. I didn't know what it was for, adjusting the topper height I assumed.

I'm not sure which version you have with the allen screw, as mine just has regular screws, but there should be 3 screws on the bottom. The one in the center does two things - it adjusts the height of the 510 connector pin and holds the positive (I think - I always forget with is pos and which is neg) terminal down to the deck. Then the tiny screw on the bottom that's in line with the hole on the side (the airflow vent) is your airflow adjustment. That's what you're looking for. You tighten or loosen that one to close off or open up the airway as much as you'd like to get your preferred draw. The third one is the fill valve.

Yes, I took it all apart and ruined the coil. This is the first rba I've built. If I would have adjusted the air flow screw I would have been good to go. Starting all over again. Thanks for the help!

The difficult part is getting the wire on the posts. After an hour of trying get them around the posts my coil is all jacked up.

Yeah, it's pretty tough to put a coil back on the posts after it's come off because the ends are already trimmed and you don't have any play to work with. If the coil came off, best way to handle it is to build a new one.

I'm beginning to think the post screws are to small for 28g.

Do you have the 'black edition'? If so, the post screws are awful and they don't hold the wire good.. I had to twist the wire all the way around to get it to stay.. I'm using 28g.

and yes the allen wrench is for the airflow control on the bottom.. do not overtighten it.. you will need to play around to see how you like it.. if you start to get dry hits, you may need to tighten it a little.. You will eventually find your sweet spot.

No, I don't have that edition but the post screws don't work very well. I'm wondering if I could get slightly larger post screws somewhere.

Yea.. i have the same issue with mine.. I just deal with it.. if you just wrap the wire around it all the way you will be fine... I believe the issue is that the bottoms of the screws are rounded instead of squared..

Thanks, that's what I had to do in order to get them on. It shouldn't be such a hassle.
