KR8 vs. E9 - REal Facts Please?

Okay, so I primarily use the KR808D-1 or KR8 if you prefer to call it that (V4L, Premium, V2cigs, etc.), which seems to be the ECF favorite for cartomizers... (I know some use cartos on 510s, 901s, M7s and whatever, but this forum seems to have more loyal KR8 users than anything else... atleast that's what I've found).... I am interested to learn more about the other popular battery model that is often used with carts "the e9" (i.e. GreenSmoke, Smoke 51 (i think), etc.)... I've read a few threads on here that briefly touch on the issue, but I havent found any nuts and bolts technical comparison... why is the e9 so much more expensive... is it simply that it's less available?... is there a voltage difference, mhA/mA current difference, ohm resistance difference on the atty in the cart.... can some experts weigh in with the REAL facts here... what makes these two popular models different?

I'm looking for some real facts... not just opinions on who likes what best... and which brand has better flavors... I mean, what makes these two batteries different aside from the threads?

The e9 isn't nearly as common as in the ecig world as the kr. However, I can give somewhat of a comparison. I started out on a 901, and moved on a 510. After reading review after review I thought the kr would be awesome. I waited until a vendor had them on sale an snagged a 2 battery kit for like $20 with hope it would be awesome. The cartos tasted like crap and didn't produce the throat hit or vapor of my 510. So i figured I got a "bad batch" of cartos, and after searching I'm positive I did. So I spent some more money and bought a new pack of cartos several months later. I got a good batch of cartos and they delivered -ok- performance. Yet again though, they didn't compare to my 510 on any aspect.

After having a talk with one of my coworkers about e-cigs, he told me about his smoke 51 that he uses at home was amazing, I went to the same smoke shop think it was a kr. I didn't know at the time there were several different cartos that offered a male battery to female cato. Anyways to find out it obviously didn't fit my kr so I busted out my 6 volt lantern battery. Anyways at least at 6 volts, the e9 owns the kr at 6v. It holds more liquid and produces MUCH more vapor. Its not even comparable. However, as I type this I'm puffin on 510 passthrough at a solid 5 volts. Both of my kr batteries sit in my ash try of my truck, completly dead. I don't even bother with it anymore. I don't have any experience with the e9 at 3.5 volts, but I hope this helps in one way or another. In my truck, I use a 510 at 5 volts, and at home I use it 510 at 5 volts as well. When I'm at school I use a 510 with cartos so I don't have to fill it up and raise any eye brows. Basically, what I'm getting at is, invest in a 510, buy some cartos for it, buy some 5 volt 2000 ma adapters for at home and in your car, and you will be absolutly thrilled with it. Ive also been use the same 510 joye atty at 5v for over 2 months now if that helps.

I have no major objection to the 510.... and I realize that attys sometimes produce more vapor, but how can you beat the quick convienience of a cart... especially with the new edition 2 cartomizers coming out.... I appreciate the info... I also have a 510, and like it... I was just trying to learn more about the e9 battery (like what is the voltage/ mhA)... I mean if I plug a KR8 cart into 5 or 6 volts its gonna do awesome as well.... but in a micro-cig you just cant throw that kind of power... and I really don't want to carry around a voltage mod the size of a screw driver no matter how great the vapor :)
