KR808 and Vapor Nine Carto Review...

Thanks for your review - I appreciate that lack of music and video effects - I've been a 808D-1 user since day one but you've wet my appetite for trying a 901. Thank you again
Cozzi you crack me up...I love your vid reviews! I laughed so hard thru this one I near pee'd myself...and here's why. I'm a carto user, more specifically a V9 Turbo user LOL. I have basic non branded KR8 batts, an Elegant fat batt, a KR8 fitted WetBox, a 510 5v PT and a 510 fitted big Chuck (in the mail). I use an airflow adjustable 510 to 808 adapter on my 510 PT for the Turbos and love it 
BUT, big but here...I have never tried a cart and atomizer so I can't compare the 2. Now you have me more curious than ever to try atomizers, which is the reason I ordered my PT and Chuck with 510 fittings
The last thing I would do is argue something as subjective as taste, I have no idea what I might be missing! Just wanted you to know that I enjoy your vids and this one made me laugh as I watched the pain of dissatisfaction on your face haha!

To be fair... my taste are a little off the beaten path if I look at them objectively.
So my assessment of this can't be accurate. It's a nice system... easy to use and fill. Looks nice...
But to me... it tastes like the hind quarters of a half dead horse. Or at least what I THINK that would taste like.
I'm pretty sure neither of us knows what the taste of the hind quarters of a half dead horse is, altho I have had a juice or 3 that I would swear was made from just that! Please be asured that I was not laughing AT you or even disagreeing with your review. I've only been vaping for 2 months and this *easy* system was exactly what I needed at the time. Now I may be ready to expand a little. I did notice a very nice boost in my flavors when I got the 5V PT...and interestingly enough, my cartos don't get hot like you talked about. And I get a lot more vapor than you seemed to get. Or maybe I'm just so full of hot air that I create my own vapor 8-o
No no.. I wasn't offended at all with your post. I was just pointing out that my tastes aren't the holy grail of vape goodness which everyone should agree with.
Like I said in the vid... it's a good system. I was hoping to use it to uncomplicate my travelling days. But to me it tastes (remember the face).... yea like that.
Yup it is a pity it doesn't work for you since I'm sure it would be easier while driving and traveling. How often do you have to refill your cart using the atomizer?
And I do know that not all cartos are created equal, I've had some really crappy ones...and I definitely don't like the prefilled ones. I was fairly happy with V4L's cool cartos until I tried the V9 turbos.
I use the Joytech 510 cartomizers which are new, and a totally different design from the standards you are used to, and the new EC2s.

Ahh yes, the pain in the azz ones! I haven't tried those yet, I stopped reading that thread after about the 26839th page heh.
But with my PT and the Chuck I will have the option to try them, that is why I ordered them with 510 threads. My Elegant is the kr8 version of your eGo, they look identical (I see you have the good taste to get the gold one too)

But it's an old cool carto and has been refilled at least 20 times. I don't bother with the boiling crap, I just ream out the center tube with a needle when it gets gunky.

Actually, I do like the 510... and the 901, for that matter. I just kinda prefer my cartos.
I do the same nail trick. You gotta practice, Cozzi!
