KR808 cartomizer mod

Trying to extend the life of 808 cartos, pull the wadding out (be sure not to destroy the coil).... use a 901 tip with blue foam, fill the tip as you would a 901/510 and vape. The 901's fit tighter than the 510's. All i can say is "WOW'.
Excellent vapor production...good TH, and it last a long time. I've experimented with it over the last few days. Ive got a pile of old cartos....may never have to buy another cartomizer or atomizer again. Don't know if its been discussed on here before, but its a first time try for me...later today i'm gonna see if i can cut down the carto an 1/8 to a 1/4 inch more so the tip sets lower into the carto.
Someone else needs to try this and post results.

that sounds like it might work , and still be repairable.. i wonder if i still have some old cartos laying around...

can you get me a pic of where you put the foam into the tip ? i always singe mine...just curious

The foam doesn't go in the carto...it goes in the mouth piece just like using a 901 or 510...I use a 901 tip (mouth piece)... it fits tighter than a 510, then just fill like you would a 901/510....basically...pull the carto wadding out, then use it like a 901 atomizer with blue foam. Haven't tried it with poly fill....but it might work.

i know that , thats what i meant , the mouthpiece...


i just meant that i can never seem to figure out if i should keep the material right to the front of the piece , or recess it in , now that people are using them with carto's , i am even more confsed bcause the cats i hve , the coilwas more vertical....so....

gotcha...it works best with alittle over the edge...maybe an 1/8 inch or so.

so you actually stick the fluval out the front? this is what i feel should probably be done with most of these , but the carto i was pretty sure that is how i would have done it , as i remember the carto being a little deeper...
