Just wanted to write a quick post about a few items Drew included in a recent order of mine.

First, we have the KR808D-1 ClearCartos. These things are awesome. they are similar to the G5 Clearomizers, but they perform soooo much better! they have a little bit of polyfill at the bottom, and there is a little reservoir at the top so you never get juice in your mouth. filling could not be easier, and there was absolutely no leaking or drops of juice out of the end. they give awesome vapor that is warm and full of flavor. they are comparable, if not better than, the MF style cartos, especially when it comes to the freaking fantastic throat hit. they are head and shoulders above the G5 cartos, and might just be my new go to style.

Next is the Kr808DM-1 ClearCartos. these are very similar to the above reviewed item, but they have a bigger battery connector to work on the DM-1s. they also have an opaque plastic cube on the interior instead of just a little bit of polyfill, and these dont leak a bit either. these babys give even better vapor than those above. and just to clarify, even though they are made for the DM-1s, they work perfectly with a great draw on the standard KR808s.

the ONLY downside to both of these is that they dont fit in the standard KR8 PCC, but i dont even care.

I really cant thank Drew enough for these things. you can be sure that I will order more soon!

I've been trying out the 808D-1 clear cartos for a few days, now. They are very nice. Good flavor and vapor, slightly mellow on the throat hit. They handle my thick juices well, too, which I certainly cannot say for similar cartos I've tried (G4's, CE3's). The little reservoir in the mouthpiece actually does its job, too. I don't get a lot of juice in the air tube, but what little there is hasn't gotten into my mouth at all. Filling definitely doesn't get any easier than this, either

I might have to try the other ones on my next order

These are easy to fill with a regular dropper bottle...Also from reading your other post I would suggest keeping these at 4.2 Volts or below also. Horizontal coils tend to run a little hotter and are primarily designed to run at 3.7ish Voltages. I havent relaly found any that handle higher voltages well. I hope ya like em. Thanks,
Drew

ahh Drew how are ya, and yeah I plan to run them around 4-4.2 flat, even a lil below sometimes, thats what I always run them at. Cause I have found any higher and they taste burnt, since the carto runs hotter. I have also filled them over ten times and still got great results. Only thing I never got was the cleaning thing. Umm, I have cleaned multiple different cartos(boiling water, let em dry for over a week all that) and they dont work right afterwords. Dont hit right, dont taste right, I dunno, luckily I dont need to clean if just use them over alot. Gotta say I looked through endless sites and you do got one of the best fairest sites around, Thanks man for making life easier!!

What is the difference between the KR808D-1 G5 Clearomizers (which look like original G4's to me) and the KR808-D1 ClearoCartos (which look like Rev 2.0 G4's to me) other than the obvious differences in the mouthpiece?

I ask because I have some 510 threaded G4's and I'm wondering if they are significantly different than the 808D versions. I've noticed that Drew only sells the 808D versions.

Edit: I found the sticky thread on G5's and read about the airflow issues on 510 G5's. Too loose? Too tight?

I havent been able to get a good version of the 510s in these or the horizontal coils...They say that some are OK , but all that I have sampled have been extremely tight draw and dont last 3 fills...Thanks
Drew

Thank you, Drew.

I'm still wondering the difference between the G5 Clearomizers and ClearoCartos, but if you'd rather not comment, that's cool.

I've got some updated 510 G4's (traded another member for some 1st release G4's I had on hand) that have a very loose draw. They work decent on a 180 mAh 510 battery. Nothing spectacular, but decent enough, IMO. I had spontaneous leaking issues with the 1st release G4's, but none with these. I've tried four, and they're all still holding juice from the first fills, one of them having been refilled 3 or 4 times. According to a youtube review video I stumbled across, the trick is to not remove the cap until the carto is out of juice. This has worked well for me, so far.

I invested in the G4's with the intention of using them as loaners for friends and coworkers that want to try vaping. I can loan them something that looks similar to a cig, lets them see the juice level so they know when to stop vaping from it, and demonstrate ease of use. Charge battery, fill carto, screw it on, and vape!

Since I have some KR808D-1 batteries too, I was wondering if the KR808D-1 threaded G4's, G5's, ClearoCartos, (whatever!) performed significantly better.

If you're interested, Drew, shoot me a P.M., and I'll gladly send you a 5-pack of these 510 G4's to try out.

Hey ,
No problem and Thanks for the offer...I will say that the Clearos have a tip that has a funneled air chamber(you should be able to see in this picture)
http://shop.nhaler.com/KR808D-1-ClearoCartos-466.htm
This keeps the liquid from leaking and spitting...Its provides a vapor/ air barrier...They are also horizontal coil and and are solderless...There are also around four other little modifications that I worked on with the manufacturer that improves their performance dramatically. Thaks again,
Drew
