KR808D-1 Batteries

I bought a manual KR808D-1 kit from Myvaporstore.com I Love It!!! It came with 2 batteries. Everything is working great, just wondering how many spare batteries do you recommend? I have been charging my batteries every night, so I know they will last me the next day. Didn't know if it may be a common problem to where the batteries just quit working.

I just started vaping 4 days ago, and I started to try to quit smoking. Its working so far, but I don't ever want to be w/out batteries not working.

Its always good to have spares of everything incluing a charger.You just never know when something is going to stop working.

I regularly use 3 slim style batteries. that way you'll never run out of charge and be able to get by if 1 dies. They will also start to lose their ability to hold a charge after a month or 2 if you are constantly using them like me...pay attention to email offers for free batteries when you buy X amount of stuff.

When you're using small batteries I'd suggest at least 2 spares, so 4 total. You might find it better to just buy a second starter kit that way you'll have a spare charger too. When I was using small batteries I'd drain them faster than I could recharge occasionally so I could keep 2 chargers going if I needed to.

The more the merrier. When I started I was ordering my batteries and cartomizers from the same place, so, when I would order a new batch of carto's I would order a spare battery too. An extra $15 wasn't too hard on the wallet. By the time I moved on to a mod, I had 10 batteries and 3 chargers. (I had 2 of them die--one of them, the light came on and just stayed on, took it 3 days to die and it never came back, the other just stopped working.) Absolutely 1 spare. Optionally 2 spares. And a spare charger. I like to have 2 chargers at home and one at work.

BTW on a manual you can use a standard resistance DSE901 atomizer and drip tip for testing juices and vaping thick or occaisoanl ones (see LiteCigUSA.net for the 901 and drip tip)

I have 6 working KR808's at all times, I also have 6 Echo batteries. I like to have back ups for my back ups and the cartomizers for both battery types are interchangeable. Welcome to the world of vaping.

How much have you all spent on batteries over say a year.

This was a problem a few years back and was the main motivator for the Screwdriver Mk1 being developed (A cheaper alternative for battery replacement).

Just wondering cos I would weight up the costs for a 10440 mod personally
