Hi everyone,

I started vaping yesterday and I think I love it!

I used the KR808D-1 all day. At the end of the day, I added juice to the cartridge (the way I interepreted it from watching some videos here). I left it sitting overnight on it's end, thread side pointing up. When I took my first draw this morning there was a nasty taste and liquid on the tip. Yikes!

Any ideas on what did I do wrong? and did I ruin the cartridge?

I also have the 510 and I think this one will be my favorite.

Thanks for all the great info here!

It seems to be very easy to overfill. Here's what ended up working best for me. After I use up a prefilled I put 2 or 3 drops in and lay them on their sides over night. I do this with 7 of them and rotate them throughout the day. Comes out to around 1ml of juice useage per day. So far i've refilled about 16 cartridges and have only had to throw out 2 that got super hot and quit working. As I do it more I'll figure out how long a prefilled carts will last.

I also use have a kr808 and 510 and like to rotate my use. As far as the kr808, I use greencig carts. They vape great and refill even better. Inside they are built more like a standard cartridge. They have an inner polyfill cartridge that can be pulled out, refilled and then popped back in. There is a bit of a learning curve on refilling them though. I like to use a pair of pliers to pop off the plastic cap then use a small drill to drill a hole in the back of the inner cartridge. I then use a pair of tweezers to pull it out and refill it.

If you love the KR808, I suggest you give greencig carts a try. They are a big improvement over the standard cartomizer design.
