I don't know what I did but no matter how much I try to inhale, very very very little vapor comes out. What are the reasons for it to stop working? I even went to as far as cleaning it by boiling and letting it air dry overnight and refilling it again. Should I just consider this cartomizer a lost?

Glad it worked! As far as the center tube, you must be able to look through it and see the other side. If it is starting to collapse, just take a paper clip, straighten out one end of it, and insert through the entire length of the tube.
This actually worked. Unfortunately, before deciding to post here about this, I have already straightened out a paperclip and have been toying with it for a good amount of time, poking the filler, and from the looks of it, it seems like there are holes in the tube in itself and I saw some filler creeping out so I was wondering what that was about and I'm assuming that is by design and so that you can inhale through those little holes on the tube.
It seemed like due to me playing around with it, some of the filler started coming out of those holes (on the tube) and trying to tuck it in is a bit difficult although I think I cleared enough of it, something isn't right when I inhale. It taste decent, vapor is coming out but I'm really getting a sense of tickle in my throat which is odd to say the least.
Maybe it's all in my head.
