KR808D-1 clearomisers in the UK?

Hello all, been lurking around here for the last month or so since I took the leap from proper cigs to these things.
Started with a Nucig (as recommended by a friend) and didn't really get on with the taste of it, so I bought a kit from smartcigs instead. Which I liked so much I bought a spare battery and a tub of eliquid.
However, because I don't smoke much during the week, I didn't realise how little I got from these kr808d-1 things. Usually a cartomiser lasts me about a day (or did until i started trying to fill them myself, think I'm getting the hang of it now) but then I had a night of drinking and in the space of 3 hours I went through 2 batteries and 4 cartomisers. So I am now worried about when it gets to festival time in the summer, where I will have no electricity for about 4 or 5 days at a stretch. Will I need racks of batteries and prefilled cartos? Or is there a better way?
In the short term however ,I'm just looking for something that lasts longer than a standard cartomiser that fits on my smartcigs batteries (KR808d-1) and is easier to fill up than a cartomiser.
Any suggestions?

Also tips on how to refill those pesky cartos, I only used to get through about 3/4 of an ounce of baccy a week, so smoking didn't cost much, and I don't want vaping to get hyper-expensive. Which it is looking to get on.

P.S. Need to be from the UK, I've seen plenty of USA options, but they don't help me much.
:)

Hi Dave! Welcome to ECF!
I don't have the answer for you, as much as I'd like to. I think Volt may be an 808D thread, although I'm not absolutely certain. Of course, if you insist on a UK vendor, that won't help you much, so maybe make 4 more posts and look in the UK thread in an hour?
In the meantime, if you aren't fixated on a cigalike, look into a 510 thread. They're more popular, so you'll have more options. Regarding cost, I'm still $300 in the hole, but I consider it worth that to have quit smoking. :)

PS. They probably make cig lookalikes in 510 threading, but I've never checked that out. The 510s I know are about the size of a slim cigar...
PPS. Just occurred to me that this is a UK based (and founded) forum. I feel like such an idiot. I'd like to apologize for directing you to the UK forum. It may be the best place to look, but I still feel pretty stupid. :)

No worries Kopfstimmen. I thought it was US based going on what I've seen so far. Puts me in my place.

Might have to move to a 510 then, this is going to get expensive.
I know what you mean about it being worth it to quit smoking, but I had to wait til I had enough disposable to start on the e-cigs, 25 odd pounds pre starter kit is quite a bit. COnsidering I don't spend that much a month on tobacco normally.

Thanks, and EU vendors are ok, as long as the postage isn't crippling.
