Earlier this month, I ordered a pack of 5 low resistance (2.0 ohm) cartomizers. At first everything worked fine. The vapor was great as was the hit. However, shortly thereafter, the cartos started doing funny things.

All of a sudden, they most of the time just cease to function. My XL battery will just light up solid immediately making no effort to fire the carto, and just shut right off with no light fading it usually does. Apparently my passthru is doing the same thing now with these cartos.

Is there anything I can do to fix this, or am I stuck ordering new cartos/new batteries to accommodate the lower resistance?

You are not supposed to use LR on slim batteries. It can damage the batteries. The electronics in slim batteries are not built to handle that kind of current draw.

Use 2.5 ohm - Vapor4Life WOW cartos or I tried some L-Rider 2.5 ohms from Madvapes which are currently only available in white. That is the lowest I would use. The lower ones are for fat battery 450mah+ (typically 650mah+) models and mods.

If you want to use the 2.0 ask Liberty-Flights.com if their Riva 901 is 3.7v (like their new Riva 510's are). I heard the model of Riva 901 they carry has the slotted battery end and that should provide enough airflow to use KR808D-1 cartos with no adapter. Many fat battery models like Ego are not 3.7v (more like 3.2-3.4v). I think elsewhere you can find an iGo that is KR808D-1 threaded. There is leCig's PigCig. And CigEasy's Elegant Easy
