I got my PCC today, and I was wondering if I can use my outlet adapter to charge it or does it have to be charged on my USB on my computer?

Here is the info I have:

PCC:
Input: 4.5-6VDC
Output: DC 4.2V 200 mA

AC adapter:
Input: 100-200V~50/60Hz 0.1A MAX
Output: 4.7V ----- 0.08A

Thanks...I'm not very tech savvy, and I don't want to ruin anything!

.08 amps? What is that AC to USB for? My PCC's AC to USB is 500mA (same as a battery charger USB to AC) - wouldn't that be .5 amps (1/2 amp) and that's a lot more than .08 amp

try charging it on the PC's USB - PC USB is specced to provide 500mA - enough to charge a battery or PCC, not enough to run a PT

(unless I am being totally hardware dumb - I am a software geek)

If it all came with your kit -- it will work!

Still, I would love for one of the battery guru's to chime in! My understanding is that both would be ok with the specifications of that pcc---but perhaps the outlet adapter would be a better choice. Take a look again -- maybe it is .8 not .08?

What I have heard don't charge pass thru on computer as many/some/perhaps older computer USB ports can't handle it and could mess up computer.

I'd suggest when you need to, charge the e cig battery on the computer and use the outlet for the PCC as it is a larger battery---as ut has to be to charge another battery a few times.
