Hi all! Been lurking for a couple months but I've recently run into battery issues and wanted to see if there are any solutions. Luckily I've got 4 batteries to cycle through.

Issue #1: I bought my first kit from V4L a few weeks ago and haven't touched an analog since July 2nd (woohoo). About two weeks ago I noticed that I was having to press the button harder and harder in order to get a consistent pull, and many times the light will only come on for a second or so. I tried cleaning the switch/thread area but it seems like the battery will work great one day and then barely at all the next. My second main battery is more reliable but its starting to have the same problems. Suggestions?

Issue #2: In my infinite wisdom, I thought I could pop the end off the battery and take a peek under the hood... hoping to find something that needed cleaning or rearranging. This is where the problem started -- a wire came loose (which I was able to solder back on) but every time I fixed one connection, I seemingly broke another. This snowballed to the point that I've now got a fully disassembled battery on my kitchen counter... and its less than a month old haha.

I'm pretty sure I can put it back together but I've got wires that somehow came loose on BOTH ends and I can only make an educated guess as to where its supposed to go. Has anyone here ever put one back together? Any help here would be appreciated! Then again, unless I fix the switch issue, the battery isn't much use to me anyways.
