Just wanted to give people an FYI that Nhaler's KR808D-1 to 510 atomizer adapter only works on manual batteries. I just got my order in from them and to my dismay, the adapter just wouldn't work. So I looked at it and there's no way air can pass through it. So instead of being able to try out a 510 atty on my KR8 batteries and not buy the whole setup, it seems I'll have to buy a new manual battery since I don't have any. I'm a bit irritated that it wasn't mentioned on their website that this adapter would only work on manual batteries.

So, I just wanted to let anyone else know that thought about this setup to make sure and have a manual battery. I posted this in the Nhaler subforum, but wanted to let everyone who loves the V4L batteries and who's thought of doing this too, know about it.

I love my auto batteries, but seems like this will force me to try the manuals lol

/end rant

that's good info--poor fellah. if it's any consolation i adore manual batteries, maybe you will too!

Yeah...im a lil angry at Nhaler, it being my first order from them, but oh well...more of my money will just goto Steve :p

Just sucks that I have to buy a new battery already, when my 2 longs, XL, and PT still work great lol But I should try the manuals and this will give me a reason to. I just like the convenience of the autos.

I recall reading there was some way to adjust the adapter for proper air flow. I don't remember where or how, but I would certainly shoot them an email or PM to make sure you have it set right.

Unfortunately the end that connects to the atty is solid, no hole or anything so no such luck.

Mrhyde, ya know I like alot of their juice but that being said...their adapters are super expensive..like freaking $9 apiece or some such nonsense...
That being said check madvapes for a 901 battery to 510 atty adapter.. (they're like $2.50)
That's where I got mine from and I know that they have a big hole through the center so they should work with your auto batteries..I actually had ordered 1 adapter to try the 510 atty on V4L batteries (it turns out rediculously long by the way) and 1 510 battery to carto adapter to try the cartos on the eGo batteries (plus a couple of rechargable batteries(inimportant to my point tho))and they ended up sending me 2 of each adapter...
My point is you don't HAVE to order a manual battery if you really don't want to...but if you're intending on dripping on that 510 atty I'd get the manual battery anyway that way you dont run the risk of flooding an atty and accidentally ruining your auto battery in the process..

EDIT: please forgive the mention of another supplier in the V4L subforum but V4L doesn't carry adapters and $9 for an adapter is obscene

Thanks a bunch Drozd! So the 901 has the same threads as the KR8? I wanna be sure before I order anything new lol It seems I burned out my only PT when I tried to modify the adapter from NHaler...I ended up drilling two holes in it, broke the wire and tried to soder it back together with a lighter lol So basically, I ruined the adapter and my only PT trying to get the stupid thing to work.

$9 adapter (w/$7 shipping), $15 PT...gone in an instant...a sobbing MrHyde >> Priceless

Lol horrible joke, but it was there :3

yup the threads are the same on the 901 and the KR8..you run into some issues with air draw depending on the adapter and if you're using other cartomizers...but I have and have used the ones I pointed you to with no problems (granted I am using manual batteries, but there is a hole straight through the center post of the adapter) (theres a picture of it on their site too so you can see the hole in it too) in fact there's one sitting on the desk next to me right now..
And damn that sucks about the PT..
EDIT: it's this one specifically http://www.madvapes.com/details.aspx?itemId=MV901TO510ADP1

Yeah, well it gives me an excuse to order the new PT V4L has...I just put in an order for one lol :p

I'll end up getting an auto PT when they finally get 'em too.

And that adapter looks almost identical to the one NHaler shows (hole and all), but only shows the side with the hole...the other side is blocked off. What I got from them didn't really look like what's in the picture but they said it was (rudely I might add) when I spoke with them on the phone. =/

Anyways, thanks again for the info :D

No problems...
I can't even find what you're talking about on their site to be honest..I'm a little suspect of something I just recently got from them myself also though..In fact I gotta post a question in the ask the experts forum about it... I ordered a HV atty from them which is supposed to be 4.2 ohm resistance and thereby take 1v off whats supplied by the battery...so by all rights it shouldn't even work off a KR8 battery running 3.7V ...but it does..(I figured I'd see if I could warm it up on a KR8 battery (since apparently the KR8 batteries run a true 3.7V but the 510 batteries don't) and then my V4L PT in prep for a HV mod that I should be getting soon...

But the good part is you're getting one of those new V4L PTs and you got a lead on a good cheap adapter..
