before buying a kraken I thought I'd try a clone...maybe use it for fishing trips when i don't want to carry a high end atty around. I've been playing with it and i wanted to know from people who own both....is the vape in the clone a fair representation of the kind of vape you get from the true kraken.because I am not overly impressed with the quality of flavor I'm getting from the clone.

like I stated in the pm, I cannot find it now but there is a couple vids poking around that show not all the clones are being built the same with a few of them - tobeco was shown to be one of the worst for this- not having the reduced or reduced enough topcap this may be part of the problem, also it may be hard to compete with the pulse you are using now unless you either find another reduced chamber atty or something very small
The two I received today from fasttech have the shorting issues. Going to fix them after work tonight after some beers.
The chamber is the pretty much the same as far as I can tell, I bought the clones to beat up at work and ended up buying an authentic Kraken because I couldn't wait lol. For now just putting the clone top cap on the authentic base to take to work until I fix the short.

i cant say for sure but i think one of the videos was on reddit maybe?
as for the shorting, you can clearly see the tube was drilled from both sides and not reamed out after as the tube has a slight off center look and a small hump or ridge in the center.
many people are using shrink wrap on the pos post to fix it, i just retapped it with a drillbit and works fine now.
