Recommendations for a RDA tank for my mech mod.

So I'm loving my nimbus, and I have a mini protank that I am fine with, but I'm thinking of getting a rta clone, like a Kraken or something that looks big, nasty and aggressive (with a glass or quartz tank housing). I love the look of the Kraken's but can't seem to find where people love it. The fogger and the AGI drip look great. I want the versatility, but only have experience with regular wick attys, not the mesh kind.

What do people think of the mesh wicks, can you use standard wicks in those things? and what clones do you recommend? I'm not rich, clones are fine with me.

Not trying to be pedantic here but for clarity you may want to be asking about RTAs (rebuildable tank atomizers) or the more general RBA (rebuildable atomizer). An RDA is a rebuildable dripping atomizer, like a Patriot, Atomic, etc...which is what I was going to come in here to talk about.

A great choice for an RTA is a modded out Kayfun Lite + clone. They are pretty cheap at $32 for a nice EHPRO and can be customized with quartz tank kits and pretty gnarley (lol) looking top caps.

I also have a Fogger v4 which gives the KFL+ a run for its money and is dual coil with a pyrex tank.

Yeah, so after I posted I went DOH I meant RTA. Thanks for noticing before I edited it. I'm at work, as a therapist, not a lot of time.

I'll check those out. I've been reading the mesh vs. cotton debates, and like with everything else it's 50/50. I'd like to try mesh, but not willing to buy a bunch so hoping to find some kind of ebay deal for one thing I need that comes with free mesh. That's how I try things out. I buy what I want and look for purchases that come with bits of certain gauges of wire, wick, etc.

A 12 x 12 piece of mesh is really cheap and will last you a long time. 500 works best. Your better of just buying a roll of wire, which is also really cheap, because usually the free wire isn't good quality.

Got mine a few days ago almost simultaneously with a Magneto RSST with AFC. I'm loving both! The Fogger 4 indeed makes the Kf's pale in every sense.
