As far as that goes. If the set of batteries is toast you should be able to tell if they're holding charge by charging them, testing to see if they're at 4.2v. If not toss em, if they are and then don't work or don't work for long...toss em.

Need a good set to test the mod. I don't see bad batteries adversely affecting the mod unless you maybe inverted them or something but there is a polarity lockout on the chip but im not sure if it works in they're pointed both ways. Let me know how it's going.

I have left the original set of batteries on the charger for a few hours before trying to use the mod again and it's just not firing up at all. Even with low batteries before I was able to get a few puffs on it before they died now nothing Is happening I put the newer set of batteries on the charger just now and I'll see if they work, If not should I order a new set of batteries to see if that's the issue? I mean all the connections inside the mod are fine nothing has been moved or anything.

Before this problem started I was having a Issue with one of my Cartomizers for my tank it wasn't vaping when the cart was screwed into the ego connection all the way so I would have to unscrew it a little for it to work, But that was only with that one cartomizer the next one I used screwed in all the way down and vaped fine, untill it just stopped working altogether maybe it's something to do with my connector I'm not sure

I would definitely try a new cartomizer or atomizer out. Maybe even two new ones from different vendors if you've got them. A bad atomizer or cartomizer could easily be the culprit. Sometimes they will work on one device and not the next. It's also easy to get a bad batch cartos or attys. Sometimes the whole box can be bad.

Make sure not to screw the cartos on too tight. Snug is good. Super tight is bad.

I tried swapping out my cartomizers but the mod isn't lighting up even without anything connected now I just tried both sets of my batteries after charging and both aren't working =\

Bummer. It would be great if you had a new set of batteries you could try. I do wonder if your batteries and/or charger are any good. Do you have a multimeter to test the batteries with?

Unfortunately no maybe I should get one and test my current batteries also maybe a new set of batteries, Should I use the AW IMR batteries and try those instead of these trustfires possibly a new charger too I have a TR-001 Charger

I would be willing to ship the mod to Jame's and pay for parts/repair this thing really made me stop smoking analogs completely and now im back on a 510 battery and i'm starting to crave one lol.

That charger should be fine. I would invest in some new batteries. You can stick with li-ion batts, but if you get the imr's you may need some magnetic spacers to go with them since they are shorter. I'd also start saving for a second device. It's nice to have two good devices for when one breaks. They all do at some point.

I hope you get it all figured out. I know it can be pretty frustrating. I hope it gets figured out soon. Cheers.

Well I think that some liquid got into the on off switch on the mod I was giving it a really good inspection yesterday under some light and I noticed the switch was wet =[ I went a ordered a Lava tube from Liberty flights as a replacement for now needed something quick and have been reading about it for too long now. I'm still really bummed out about this breaking though, Maybe some time down the line I could get it repaired from you really hope so, I loved my little man for the 3 months I had it lol (grr so clumsy) anyone thinking of ordering one do it!

I got my mod yesterday. It is a dual 510 vv bottomfed 18650 beast. I call it my double barrel beast. It works like a champ. I imagine most of the time I will just use one of the connections, but the second one is handy for flooded atomizers and it looks pretty awesome. Here are some pics: ImageShack(TM) slideshow

Having a larger bottle for bottom feeding is amazing. It works so much better than the smaller bottles I'm used to with other bottom fed mods. After I've had some time to play with it I plan on doing a review.

I had these boxes made by wildman wood mods. He will make you anything you want as long as you have the inner dimensions. I will post pic of these when they are finished. Can't wait...

Those are some nice looking 18650 mods you built James... I've been using my Red Dragon with a HV 901 atty, and Empire Drip Shield for the past couple of days now... NICE vaping, and still feeds juice through the 901 adapter to the atty. I have the other side fitted with a sealed 510-to-eGo adapter.

Nice techno, I've heard a few people talk about 901's being better flavor wise than 510's but I've never actually used one.
