I don't wish to sound rude but I normally don't openly price something that I did as a special order because the price will vary as you add or remove items or for different grades of amperage goods and such.

If anyone has questions about pricing of certain things or ideas just PM me and I'll get back to you with a better idea of what you'd be looking at.

Small update on a few things. I just finished a 14500 evercool bottomfeeder that I think turned out really nicely and I got to use some cool new stuff on it. I had to fabricate the battery holding area out of acrylic because I tried to use a AA holder...and it was crap and snapped the moment I tried to put a 14500 in there and I hate those cheap things but after a bit of work(I'm not a master acrylic worker I know) I got it looking pretty good and working nicely. Check it out:

14500 Evercool BottomFeeder

Someone had suggested I use magnets as an enclosure method and I dug for a bit and finally found some that I liked and thought would work well, these little super magents that are 1/8" so they fit in a slightly tapped screwhole. Turned out fairly nice.

I got these new potentiometers that are sealed and long life (100,000 cycles vs the normal 500 - 1,000) which I decided were totally worth it and then came across that you can get Adjusters for them! Looks really nice and turns smooth and easy.

There is of course a big section of acrylic down the middle just because I wanted it in case of any leaking the probability of it getting to the batteries or electronics to be reduced.

All of the battery cases are available in blue, green, red, yellow, clear, or black. All of the enclosures are normally available in clear, red, blue, grey, or black(some special size cases may need to be ordered).

So I've had a lot of confusion with pricing lately and decided to revisit my pricing and a few other things. Currently I just finished taking a stock of costs and time input into each mod and really sat down and hammered out some details for a solid price list of the normal items that I currently offer that I can put a straight price on.

This a list of exactly what I can offer and for what price it can be offered at. Now I know a few people have probably sent me messages and might have gotten a slightly different bid at the time because I honestly till now didn't have a solid inventory and list of useable parts and how much I pay for them to go by and was doing per job things. Well I have now basically had to step up my game and get my stuff together because this has become somewhat more of a small business than I expected and I love you all for it. I believe my pricing is fair as it's pretty much as low as I can offer them at.

This is my official pricing for now and should help folks that are just wanting a little mark to go by. If you have questions, concerns, or just want to gab about mods, please feel free to PM me. I usually get back to folks within the hour or less if I am available. I still of course consider specialty work as that's what a lot of people want.

Alright, I finally finished up the first one, wanted to try a couple new things on it that took a while. So here it is: 14500 Bottom Feeder New and Improved

There is a few things about it that I really think have gotten better, first it's tiny compared to the original, that comes at the price of a smaller bottle, but if you honestly use more than 3 ml's you'll just have to carry a second bottle. :p

I fiddled with an LED idea until I finally came up with a cool way of doing it, it shoots like into the bottle and it's not only visible from the fingerhole I tapped out a small hole in the front that also lights up with it, so it's kind of like having a normal LED in the front plate. I don't like the needle on a bottle idea so I used a small piece of brass tubing that's soldered into the connection and you can just stick any 3 ml bottle on it. There is a small tube in the bottle but that's something that can be put on any 3ml bottle. So you don't have to have the super specific bottle.

Tell me what ya think of the upgrade!

Oooh, hairball, what kind did you get? What color button, led? I love that you can customize these. I love mine. I'm going to post a review today. James does such a GREAT job on these! I'm thinking of getting a twin 18650 Evercool VV, just waiting for the moolah to buy it. I've caught "mod fever".

Bumping this up. Got my order placed and waiting patiently. I know this will blow the Big Daddy out of the water. Woot!

Received my new VV14500 with meter the other day and have been rocking it this weekend.

ImageShack(TM) slideshow

This hits like a freight train. The meter works like a charm, ranges from 3.39-6.1, s'funny somewhere in the 4 range it goes from 2 decimal places to 1(?). The inside is so neat and clean, just like all of James's work.

I had asked James to fit a magnet where the screw hole is on the lower part of the door and I am glad I did. There is some side to side play on the door that might have worried me but now it doesn't bother me at all. Not to say that the door would have slipped but who knows. Anyway with the meter the only time I have to open it is to change the batteries and that's only once or twice a day.

Even though it's a 4xAA box it is still small enough to fit in my pants pocket and it seems to weigh the same as a regular VV.

I couldn't be more happier with this box. Maybe someday James can figure out how to fit it all in a 3xAA box, that is the only reason I would have to buy another one, otherwise this is my new goto pv.

Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls of all ages(over 18) I bring you what it truly looks like to jam a ton of .... in a half ton bag. I was commissioned to make a 14500 bottomfeeder, with an evercool system,...and display...in a 4xAA case. Yes, it was a true pain in the .... and took me two tries as I nuked the first one.

Without further a due: 14500 Evercool Bottomfeeder w/ Display!!!

This was actually one of the more painful mods for me to make as I did get to shed a little blood for this one. (Wild Exacto knife.)
