Hi all,
Today I received my green Krimson Kustoms "Little Man" box mod. It's a regulated VV box with a voltage display, that takes two 14500 batteries. It goes from 3.4 up to 6.1. Mine came with an Ego connector, which I wanted because I have some stuff that won't fit on a normal 510 connection (Echo-E's and EMDCC's).
It cost me $80, plus shipping. It took about a week from ordering it to arrival, which is quite good since it had to be shipped to Europe.
A short while ago, I started a thread here where I said I wouldn't order any more stuff for two months. I failed because I ordered this - but I'm glad that I did
Now, I don't have a Provari, Darwin or Buzz Pro to compare this to. I do have a VaporLuxe (about the same as a Fistpack), which is also VV, and which I like a lot as well.
I like vaping both. The VaporLuxe is more classy-looking, and can be charged through USB, and I can vape it while it's charging. It also has some LED's that show the battery's charge level. It doesn't have a LED that lights while vaping though.
On the other hand, my Little Man has the voltage display, wider voltage range, a nicer feeling button, an off-switch, the ego-connection, and more amperes. And while it looks less classy, I do think it looks extremely cool. Plus it costs a bit less ($80 instead of $135, but you need batteries and a charger).
It also keeps hitting hard until the battery is dead, while I notice some drop off on the VaporLuxe.
I'm not a very technical guy. I don't really know much about volts, amperes, watts and ohms. What I do know is that I love vaping with this unit. For dual coil carto's, I find that I enjoy them at around 4.5 volts.
EDIT: I should add that the Little Men usually come without a LED due to space restrictions. But since I asked for an EGO connection, James was able to fit a nice LED inside for me, which I'm happy about. I love some visual feedback. But without the LED, the display would still light up, which would have been fine as well.
I named mine "the Nuke Box". Here's some pictures (added the stickers myself) :
So, would I recommend this? Hell yeah. It's well built, doesn't break the bank, groovy looking, and I love vaping it.
