This review is LONG overdue but i've been busy with school and work that I didn't have time to do it. Dont have any pictures but you can go to his supplier thread to check out what he has.

I got this mod on 10-22-11 and have been using it everyday since then so i have quite a bit of experience with this mod. First off, JamesW does great work! Despite his busy schedule with school and what not, he still finds time to work on mods and reply to PMs in a timely manner. I especially like that he is even willing to take pics or do videos of his progress in the making of your mod (if requested). Also he's willing to customize the mod to whatever you want as long as he can get a hold of the supplies for it and is within his abilities. Overall i'm glad to have worked with him on my first VV mod.
Now for the mod. It uses 2-14500 batteries. I got mine all black with a chrome "beauty ring", black horn button, and a more flush pot placed lower towards the corner of the mod. I also had 3 notches made next to the pot so that i can get a general idea of where i'm vaping in terms of voltage (measure each notch with a DMM) I will list all the pro's and con's I found with this mod. I wont go into how the mod works and what parts are used in the mod as u can just go to his thread or PM him about the mod.
Pros:
-It is small! at least to me. I was expecting it to be a bit bigger but when i got it, i was surprised to see how small it was.
-Well put together and got exactly what i wanted. The epoxy is clean and the soldering is very well done from what i saw. I was also able to use my J-tank because the connector sits a little higher than the beauty ring so it wont get in the way of making a good connection with a tank. Great job James
-Pot is nice and almost flush with the box. Easy to adjust even despite it being no more than 1 mm up from the box.
-Has an on/off switch that works well. haven't had it switch on or off on it's own while in my pocket.
-Pretty good battery life. I vape 6-8 mls on average and on days i stay home all day i'm vaping 10 mls. Settings used every day is 5.2v with a boge 3.0ohm carto on a tank. Each 14500 set (on 10ml days) lasts about 4-5 hours for me. I do have to change the battery twice in a day but for those who vape 6 or less mls a day, u will be able to go a day with 1 battery swap at most.
-Voltage range is from 3.4 to 5.5 volts. I find any more than 5.5 to be quite unnecessary unless you are using something higher than 3.0 ohms for your atty or carto. Unless u like vaping at 10+ watts, the range is sufficient. Also it is "regulated" to the voltage you set it at until the batteries can't provide the power for it anymore.
-Durability is pretty good I'd say! I have dropped the mod from waist high to tile floor and once on concrete, about 4 or 5 times and it still works without any malfunctions
I haven't gotten any cracks or anything from those drops on the box so I think it'll hold up fairly well. I think it's due to how light the mod is even with the batteries in there. I can't give a exact weigh out but believe me, it's pretty light.
Cons:
-It's a box mod. Although it has survived a handful of falls unscathed, it may not get so lucky on the next fall. I have also read that the black box is actually a bit stronger than the transparent colored ones.
-Although the pot is flush and is great to use, i find that i moves TOO easily. I pretty much find myself checking the pot to see if it's in the right position before i vape each time i put it away.
-Battery life isn't good for the heavy vapers. will work out for those who are more of a "puffer" than a "steam train".
-May not have over heating protection but i could be wrong. Recently (twice in 3 days), I had the mod on and something on my bag activated the switch for what seems like a long time. I went away from it for a while and came back smelling my juice and when i grabbed my pv, the tank and the mod were HOT. Of course, it fried my carto badly as well as heat the juice to the point where it flooded the whole connection area and had to clean it up. Still works despite that mishap LOL.
-Box and the cover are a little off in size but I dont think it was because of James. I think the manufacturer is the reason for the battery cover not being level with the bottom of the battery box.
Would I recommend this mod? Most definitely. It has treated me really well (still does). But i would more recommend it for home use or as a back up because after all...it IS a box mod made of plastic. Also if your a heavy vaper like me, you may want to go with his 18650 box mods or find something else with better battery life if you will be using it as a main. Although, I think it would be a decent stealth mod (depending on your hand size). I'm able to palm box mod and hide it (not whatever is connected on top though, atty/carto/tank). and...I think thats all i got.
Hope you guys found my review somewhat useful. happy vaping!
