Kts/China GG, Need help

As a shorting happened too my mod. I know its the spring because I put in a spring on it and its working again. As suggested by my friend, should I sand the chrome on the back of the switch and the center post? He said thats the reason of the shorting (2 chromes).

You put another spring in it? You mean you disconnected the spring on the bottom cap and soldered another on? Not sure I understand.

But you should definitly sand the chrome off of the switch and post, makes a big difference

Yeah, the firing switch was getting hot.
