Hello im so confused on to what i need to do to get this working i am using the KTS storm flat top model with panasonic cgr18650cg bats. when i get everything screwed in and tightened it doesn't want to fire but once i loosen it up a bit it works, of course i don't like that because the mod jiggles around. ive read some forums that say to sand down both positive and negative posts because they are chrome plated but also read that i should remove the spring as well, please inform me on what i need to do to get this working properly.:(

That's ok because the Panasonic battery is probably protected. I was making sure you weren't using a kick switch with a protected battery, it may cause a problem. Can you post a pic of the contacts? Does the light on the button flash at all?

Just trying to help, I don't know anything about this device yet, but hell I can try ;)

Well the first thing i did was sand all the contact points.

You don`t need to remove the spring. IMO this mod is just tempremental, even after modding, it still misfires sometimes.

just need to make sure you push the firing pin fully home, when taking a hit.

Just to correct you margate,

It is a mechanical mod, No flashing lights, or bells and whistles.:)

ive tried pushing it all the way down and sometimes it still wont fire, i did sand down the contact points however, since its a telescopic mod when i screw it in where it fits snug it doesn't want to fire but once its a little loose it works. i guess it's just me but i dont like the loose feeling of it, fell like the pieces aren't intact as well as it being screwed nice and snug

Have you tried it in 18350 mode ?

Mine seems to run better this way. Dunno why, just does.
