So I've been rebuilding coils for two weeks now on my kts+. I always go sub ohm from .7 to .9 keeping at or below 6 amps. Since it isnt a 100% mechanical (solder on the negative battery contact spring and solid post where trigger contacts) how many amps can it handle?
btw...I run efest high drain imr 18650 2000mah

thats a true mechanical. I have seen picks of people pulling the spring and just using the post for battery contact.

I would say depending on the solder it would have to get pretty hot before it melts hotter then you would want to hold. you could always take it to a welder or jeweler and see if they can silversolder the spring on for you. a vary hard conductive weld for sure.
