Yeah, I was just checking that out.. that's an awesome website.

But.. am I reading the charts wrong? I see that the AW 1600mah is producing higher voltage, but the Orbtronic is showing a much longer charge life.. isn't it? Or do I have that backwards?

The problem is that a decent chunk of that battery life is below 3.7v, which is about where you'll most likely be changing the battery out for performance reasons anyway.

Realistically you want the battery that can hold above 3.7v for the longest.

oh, man.. that chart all of a sudden makes these orbtronic batteries look terrible! they barely start at 3.7! lol

They are not terrible... they are very good batteries. But they may not be very good for you. It all depends upon the application.

I don't do those ultra low resistance thangs. I take long, slow hits on ~2Ω cartos with my mechs as well as my VV/VWs. As you can see on the second chart, I benefit from those pannys. YMM(and will)V.

Hey Vaping Turtle.
The Orbtronic battery in the comparison pic isn't based on the NCR18650PD.

Panasonic PROTECTED 18650 Battery 2900mAh - Cell- Protection Made in Japan - Shipped free from Florida USA

This one is though.....

Test of EnerPower+ 18650 2900mAh 3C (Blue)

Thanks for the correction, Bass!

Note that those are the 5A curves. Draw your own conclusions.
