Just ordered the KTS from Exhale.. Looked like only 2-tone as a choice, unfortunately. Amusingly, fasttech now lists it as well - so, much as I wanted to try an order with FT, Exhale is closer.

Next order will be the K100 from FT, is the plan..

Worse case? Worst case is I have to figure out a big Nimh replacement for the KTS - my Pucks all died, my OKR is taking a dirtnap.. THankfully, my Vamo (aka Voma and Bamboo) is still plugging along on the Aga-T*, T3's and my CGR18650's.

Got my KTS storm from Exhale yesterday and it's pretty impressive for the money. What I really love though is putting in shorty mode with a 350 in it. With an ego adapter and an evod, this thing is tiny, relatively, and lightweight. I dont expect the gold to last, but it'll last a little longer since my Natural is my primary. The KTS seems almost dainty, or as we men like to call it, stealthy.

The fire button is small and easy to press, and it worked out of the box with my KPTs (1.8ohm) and EVODs. I like it alot.

What y'all think about this? https://www.exhalevapors.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=6089&CartID=1

Will it be better than corolla? Or if not make some recommendations please

I received the KTS and a Sigelei 8 last week. I paid $24 for each. The quality difference is almost shocking. The KTS feels like a $20-$30 device. The Sigelei on the other hand is in a whole other league. Granted, I think this is the latest #8 with the spring fix and brass contacts and SS body from the factory... I think most of the bugs have been worked out. The KTS feels like a toy compared to the #8. Just MHO.
That being said, I would probably take the KTS out and about without fear of scratching or gouging it...

Never understood why people think a Mod must be heave to be good or that it feels like a toy if it is lighter.

All my Mods work well regardless of weight. #8 is the only Mod Sigelei seems to have gotten Decent out of box so far. Hopefully they will figure things out as they go.

Anyway, back on topic.
I have 4 reasons for liking the KTS - (2)Chrome, 1 Brass and 1 Two tone Gold/Chrome - All 4 Work Very well for my needs. They look decent and different from other Mods. All feel decent in hand with comfortable switch placement.

I really like my kts. I have only been using it for several days and the gold is already wearing off on the center tube. To be honest though, the thing barely ever leaves my hand. I expect the entire kts will look worn sooner than for other kts owners. Kind of a shame because it really did look quite nice brand new. Once it's too worn I will just do as I have seen others post and sand it down till it is entirely brass. Then it will look even cooler.

anyone having issues on the firing switch?like really hot???chain vaped earlier...dont know where the heat is coming from....or what is causing it....using efest batteries and ultrafire protected ones....

Sounds like you might need to sand down the points of contact to the batteries. Poor contact would cause heat buildup.

Poor switch contact.
Remove with Needle nose pliers.
Clean with Alcohol
light Sand contact end.
light Sand Center post
Install switch and Snug good - Don't strip threading!

Hot spot is always the point of trouble. Current not passing smoothly.

So im trying to see if I can remove the gold plating or whatever it is. Instead of sanding it Im trying something I dug up on the web. Seems it may be possible to remove it using over cleaner, like Easy Off. Got some from the dollar store and the middle tube is gonna soak in it overnight. Ill let ya all know how it goes. May not work but for a dollar... meh, why not.

Just got my KTS from Fasttech. The included Carto tank is junk - no bottom screw and threads are bad.
Gotta say that I'm well impressed with the mod though. Looks sharp and is way nicer than the no name bottom button telescope I've got. Put on the Fasttech SS Chobra. Looks great, hits like a train. Stoked!

Well supposedly oven cleaner works. However I maybe bought the wrong kind cause it hasnt worked very well for me. I have a new chuck coming for my dremel tomorrow so that should make quick work out of it. Ill post some pics and what I did once it is done. Ive made a little progress with the oven cleaner but its just not as easy peazy as I read online.
