I just got my KTS+ also, and as far as I can tell, there is no airflow to the bottom of the pin where the air would enter the protank. I'm not sure why it was designed this way, or if there is some modification that can be done to fix it. In the meantime, I would just use an atomizer with its own air supply like a genesis style atomizer.

I had the same issue on my Provari. I think you can buy a different base for the Protank to help the airflow.

I wish all devices had the mounting system like the Nemesis (and its clone). The 510 connection is bout into the top cap and the center pin on the atomizer is suspended into a cavity with airflow ports. The battery contact then comes up to meet the center pin, but just touches the tip. This leaves access for plenty of air to get into the center pin, and can be adjusted by closing off one or both air holes. It's just brilliant and works so much better than a simple 510 connection stamped onto the top of the mod.

Okay, so I spent some time examining the atomizer head on the Protank and found the problem. The rubber insulator can get pinched if the center pin is pushed in too far, thereby expanding the rubber. This then blocks off the airflow that would otherwise come in through the holes on the side of the 510 connector, down alongside the atomizer base, and then up through the middle of the center pin. Try pulling your pin and pushing the rubber insulator back into shape to open up the airflow. Also, because I've been rebuilding my Protank coils for a while, I've noticed that the rubber insulator is getting broken down and is not as stiff as it used to be, so that is likely why its getting smushed (for lack of a better word) more easily.

Next purchase - AirFlow.jpg

Top Cap has small channels so you need something to provide unrestricted air to any Bottom Flow device. ANY

Tanks like AGA-T, Genesis style work fine. Ithaka will work as it has air flow control built in.

Just ordered some this morning from MyVaporStore. Can't wait to try them out.
