So I have a KTS Storm and its a decent mod, however I would not recommend it. I've been vaping on it for about a month now. First I had a Smoke Trophy V2 tank on here. Works pretty good but the trophy tank sucks in my opinion. Not enough airflow. Even for a tank. I've seen ego tanks with better airflow. Anyway, back to the KTS. My buddy has a plume vail and I was curious so I screwed that sucker on hoping to vape away. But it wouldn't fire. Lowered the contact pin on the plume vail and still nothing. Then he bought the Troll RDA and of course I tried that one two. Works like a charm. I have no clue why the plume vail wouldn't fire, never did figure that out. However today I bought the Dark Horse RDA. Which in now my first and only RDA. (Vertex will be here soon). I put dual coils on my dark horse, about .8 ohms and it took literally 30 seconds or better to heat up. Wicked and vaped on it and it was not satisfying. Hardly any vaper at all. So I played around with it for about an hour an now I just have a single nano coil on it. About .6ohms and it works like it should. What I found was that dual coils in the dark horse RDA will not work on the KTS. However dual coils in the Troll RDA work just fine.

I haven't noticed a lot of helpful info on the KTS so I'm posting this forum in hopes that anyone with similar problems using this mod either has impute that might bring things to light, or that this may give you some help if you're having similar problems.
Hope this helps.

Welcome to the forums, in regards to the kts some have said to scuff the contacts a little to make it better. I have a plume and the center pin is short, I would see if the mod center pin adjusts any more up. Also the trophy tank looks like a kanger pro tank, so you might be able to replace it with the new afc bottoms.

Lastly make sure you gave good batteries and ohm tester to check everything.

I have a one of the 1st KTS's that came out ,the non etched version, chromed brass not SS version, with the threaded type button
that is one of the best mods i have ever owned ,only problem i ever had with it was dirt would build up under the button and stop it from firing ,,run a piece of paper under there and go !!

something that might help your issue is,thread the atty on and then tighten up the battery ,,the positive pin is semi floating, but only a little bit
