Kyfun vs Trident

Anyone know if the K tank will taste better than the Trident,i have the Trident using cotton and im not really liking it as much as my SS cable in the RSST and Kraken.Seems like i can taste the cotton.I use organic and i also boiled it in distilled water.

When I use organic cotton I don't boil it and it tastes just fine with no break in period. I make sure it's well saturated before I vape also.

Also I use my kayfun everyday, and the flavor I get out of it is awesome. Can't speak for the trident though, don't have one of those..... yet

I think Trident is more suited for direct lung hit flavor Rip style.
I would set up KFL style topper for mouth to lung flavor.
It's like two different worlds.

Many ways to do it. How is your Trident set up?

I set up the Trident 2 ways,first i tried it a micro coil with 28 ga,.7 ohm on a mech with cotton and it was ok if i ''lunged'' it which i dont like to do .mouth hits were not cutting it.Then i tried a 1 .5 ohm on the Vamo and it was way better,just cant get paste the cotton taste.May need more time too play around with it.

In my book Trident is a "lunged" topper.
For starters there is many potential air leak sites which may harm vapor quality.
Small leaks no big deal when lunged though dual 1/8" jets.
Big deal when main air jet approaches a tiny 1 mm; leaks are higher percent of jet flow.
The I prefer tiny chamber for mouth to lung; not big like trident.
YMMV.

Guessing, I'd say the Trident would be easier to swallow - it's smaller

Seriously - Everything depends on BUILD CAPABILITY and personal preference. I've used Genesis atomizers for many months and fast found I prefer Kayfun's with Cotton or Ithaka's Dual coiled with 2mm silica.

The biggest decision in answering your question would be convenience. If sitting around, the trident would be a great vape. on the Go the Kayfun would be the better way to go.

love my trident, great flavor with eaches and creme cotton yarn. so good.

just built my kayfun lite, havnt tried it yet though, going to let it sit a little before i test it. it will really have to impress me for it to beat the trident though. first build isnt looking promising, think I needed a thicker wick. guess Ill find out. thing I hate is it doesnt look like you can rebuild it and leave liquid in the tank.

Just tried it out, not bad. using it with bobas bounty and it taste pretty good. im using a .8ohm micro coil and it is giving a nice warm vape with nice flavor. airflow isnt to bad either, not to loose or tight which is what I was looking for. cloud wise it doesnt touch the tridetn and I didnt think it would. but for what I bought it for im happy with it. Will be nice for out and about when I dont want to drip.

that being said when im at home I will grab the trident for sure.

give peaches and creme yarn a try in your trident, im not teh biggest fan of cotton puffballs. it gives a weird flavor to me where peaches and creme taste more pure and I dont get the little cotton taste. Im using cotton puffs the kayfun, will definitely try the peaches and creme in it after I run this tank out.
