Not sure what to try differently, every build I've tried it ends up leaking.. Usually not right away but always within the day.. usually within the hours after wicking it. I tried opening the airflow all the way up thinking too much juice was getting pulled in, tried the coil sitting higher and lower over the air holes, tried shorter/longer wicks, tried thinning out the ends of the wick like the videos suggested, also tried NOT thinning wick out thinking maybe it was leaking because it was too thin. Same deal.
I suspect part of the problem is I'm vaping my kylin at around 10-12 watts only.. About 1.00 ohms. So with my higher oms coil the coils are way smaller looking than the coils in all the tutorials I've tried to watch, not the just the gauge of the wiring but the actual hole that you thread the wick through appears to be WAY smaller diameter than the guy's coils in the tutorials which I assume they are subohming..
Maybe that is the reason it keeps leaking? The bigger diameter wick hole of the sub ohm coils would allow me to thread more cotton through it without it being too tight. Idk what else to try because I've tried lacing just about as much cotton through it as I can.. Then the second issue is I'll get the wick stuffed down in the juice holes looking nice then I go to screw the chimney on and the frickin wick gets pulled to the side of the juice slots or completely out of the slots as I thread it.. so I gotta to turn clockwise, then counter clockwise a bit to pull the wick back to the right then to the left then right.. so the wicks stays lined up right but it ends up leaking anyway..
Gonna pull my hair out lol.
