Hello All,

So I have sensitive lips in my family and we ordered a lot of the cartos that burn cooler which are blank; and you fill them with your juice of choice. These don't have labels of what they are, so I have tried to label them with a sharpie and pen and when I use them the ink comes off and I have to figure out what they are again. Any suggestions on the best method to label these so they stick?

Go to any department store or craft store and pick up some little alphabet stickers. That's what I've used, and it works great. They last more or less the life of the cartomizer. Sometimes the condoms will press on them and rub them off, but you just put another one on.

Hit your local Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Dollar General, Craft Store, or Target/Wal-Mart.

You could also get a label maker, but that's a more expensive alternative.

I use a "Dymo" labeler that I got at walmart for $22 but someone posted that "Staples" has one for $10. Re-fills for staples one is $22 though and the ones at walmart were only $7. A little tip, if the labels print out curled around with print on the inside, roll them between your fingers the other ways so they curl around with print facing out. This will keep the ends from popping up.:)

Please post more ideas. I tried labels like the kind that go on folders, but they fell off. I tried Sharpies but they are not pernament like they claim! I tried little dots but those only come a few colors and I currently have about 10 carts filled with different flavors. So please, more people respond with more and more suggestions. And a big thank you to those who already gave us ideas.

Not exactly a marking, but I use a rubber band to attach my cartos to the bottle of juice it contains. That way I don't have to worry about anything rubbing off.

Haha...that's what I do too, no sorting problem then either...and I put the condoms back on then when storing so there are no leaks.

I also use the rubber bands. Found super stretch hair rubber bands at Walgreens, think they were $2 for 500 and come in 5 colors. I just use combos of the colors to help out.

Also have used the blue painting tape and write on it with sharpie. Ink doesn't smear and it stick really well to bottles, but comes off easily.

Slightly different from your question for this thread, but I had a problem with LR cartomizers burning my lip, so the solution that worked for me was to get a drip tip. It would work for any kind of cartomizer. You have to leave off the soft white cap on the carto and then put the drip tip into the carto. I don't drip so right now the only cartomizers I use this on is my LR ones. However, there are some really pretty decorative ones out there that when I've replenished the bank account from my last spending spree, I plan on getting just to decorate my RiVa and eGo with.

If any e-cig vendors are reading this, there's a really simple solution to the labelling issue, (and maybe someone's already done it). What we need is for someone to supply carts in packs of say, 10 or 20, all in different colors. The colors wouldn't need to exactly match a flavor (pretty impossible anyway) - just be distinguishable from one another. If colored carts don't appeal to people, a colored band on the cart would work just as well.

Another smart idea would be to include a piece of card with the cart colors on it. It would have a box beside each color where you could write the name of the flavor you're using.

I'd pay an extra buck for colored carts.
