I was look for something quick/cheap that would stick well but release easily and cleanly (i.e. no sticky mess). I've had pretty good success with blue painter's tape and a silver Sharpie. Also trying out paper "first aid" tape and black Sharpie; so far so good.

Me too... blue painter's tape from the dollar store and a sharpie. Real labels look much nicer; but I like how quick, cheap, and easy the tape is.

It seems some people are very serious about their labels! Wow!

Since I am only doing this for myself and a couple of family members I don't see that it matters a whole lot as long as we can read what is in the bottle. I got some cheap stickers a Wal Mart that work just fine for me. They have stayed on (at this point) and easy off without sticky residue.

The contest is over and the winner is ==> blue painter's tape and silver Sharpie. I left first aid tape longer than typical and had to clean the gooey with alcohol. Now if only the VG didn't dissolve Sharpie ink...

No mocking labelers!! In all seriousness, it's indeed serious.

Love it! Good one RocketPuppy

Painters tape is the best. I had to do some home improvement and bought a roll. I had a LOT left over and was tiffed because I thought it was a waste and that I'd never use it. I couldn't have been more wrong. I found so many uses for it. I need to buy some more.
I use painters tape...not the most professional looking, but dont fall off easy to use and cheap like me lol

The dollar stores around here sell it. I don't usually buy things there... you get what you pay for most of the time, but the painters tape there works just fine.
