Labels that stick?

Does anyone know of which labels to use that will stick to plastic & glass bottles without having to use tape?

I do not have a printer attached to my office LOL I'm paperless. So I would have to print on housemates desktop

so I might be better off getting a label maker..

Love my P-touch label maker. The labels stick to glass, come off easily and they last a long time [I've done several batches of juice in the same bottle with the same label on it].

I used a friend's label maker once and I seem to remember there was a bunch of paper types.

Sharpie oil based paint pen. Can remove from glass w/ razor blade. I suppose some solvents will remove like acetone; but haven't tried.

This is what I use for my business Weatherproof Gloss for Inkjet Printers - OnlineLabels.com. They may be a bit pricey for a home mixer/user but they are waterproof and stick very well

I use Avery Labels used for business. They can be found most anywhere, Wal-Mart is one place.

The P-touch has tape cartridges that have paper that is printed on and then a top clear layer is placed on top of the label as it leaves the printer. The P Touch uses TZ tape and comes in a variety of widths.

I use Brother P-touch model PT-2730 that connects to my computer via USB cable. The software is simple to use and included. About $70. - but I use it for many other chores.

+1 on avery labels at Walmart. they stick well and come off very easy. printable or just right on them .

Since you connect it to your computer can you use pictures for the labels' backgrounds?
Fade the backgrounds, etc?


I've been using Avery labels marked with pen and covered with tape.
Old tape is a PITA to remove from glass but I found a system.

Scrape the tape solid off with my knife.
Rub in Goo Gone until the goo is liquified.
Wipe with a vaper towel.
wash with isopropyl then dawn/warm water

Skip the isopropyl and it doesn't get perfectly clean.
